Gerry - outstanding bit of detailing, sir! Looks great. It is amazing how some simple techniques make the trucks look far better! I drew in the panel lines on my 1/10th Carisma RTR Range Rover (white body) and it made quite the difference IMHO.
@@gerrysoldguyreview :D I have done some of that in the past - Airfix model kits as a kid and far more recently Tamiya Lunchboxes . Speaking of taping I may investigate some of those really narrow line tapes which may be suitable for 10th scale panel and shut lines. It's about 0.7mm wide or so.

Looks awesome! I just got myself an scx6 and am working on scale details. Did you do anything special to prep the roof for the spray-on bedliner? Any issues with it peeling off?
Thank you! I've used the rubberized undercoat on fenders,bumpers, and sliders for years holds up great! Now the paint I used for the roof is new so it has shown roll over damage but easy to touch up!
Ok challenge On! I’m dying to see a head to head crawling battle against the Redcat Marksmen. From what I’ve seen myself the Marksmen will out perform it mostly because the Axial is a top heavy bodied crawler. And Marksmen is wide & lower. I’ve went out with all my RC’s & the Redcat blows away all my 1:10 scale crawlers. I’m talking on the steep rock faces & rock gardens. It’s very planted & the others always want to tip over or lose traction. I’d challenge anyone with it against my Marksmen. Challenge On!

One thing I gotta say before I move on.. quit focusing on the negative things that don't really matter.. it really turned me off of this video would have been cool to just watch and see what you did but it was backed with a terrible in your face tone in your voice.. constructive criticism man just be a nicer dude.
Sorry you felt that way, but I trive for honesty and when I point out things that I think should be addressed it's just my view. As for my tone it's the same in all my videos so I don't know how to change that. But I do thank you for your opinion all are welcome here.

Great video. Gave me a good idea to paint the roof on my SCX III GREY JLU tan. Thinking of some hinges from sunglasses to make the hood open on mine.🤔

Thanks Alex 😁 nothing special the paint I use us made for plastic and it's abit rubberized! No peeling yet

You can use micron line tape for line work instead of a sharpie. Ebay sells it.
