DC has not mastered story transition like Marvel. They are both great, but DC does not do a good job in introducing different characters and stories with one main storyline like Marvel. It is definitely their weak point.
When it comes to the video games, animated - anime cartoons/series/films, shorts, specials, graphic novels I think they do a good job but yes they do need help

The length being a problem for people is kind of a personal problem. If i get into a show I want it to be something I can watch and binge over a long period of time when I get off work. A limited series never flushes out all of the details. that's why none of the marvel show resonate with me. they feel rushed and never have enough action. The problem with the arrowveres was the villain of the week format. That's doesn't make you wanna invest in it long term. Plus they'd change a character to make him gay instead of building a character you can grow with
Fair. I think my point is more for the benefit of the Arrowverse to get more NEW viewers so they could build their universe better. But I haven't seen all of the shows so I can hear what you're saying as well.

I’m with Ben on the criticisms of the Arrowverse it has always been out of our love for DC. They can and should do better Soap Opera melodramas aren’t what a lot of us are looking for but I love that we even got these heroes on TV in the first place.
Ok I have a few issues with this video first off Arrow first aired in 2012 predating the DCEU by an entire year so it has no relevance to try and connect them they are separate. And mini series are fine for one off storylines however there also for idiots that have the attention span of an amoeba longer season and series runs are far better.

There's just been way too many shows. Yes the crossovers are Awesome but waaay too many character introductions and storylines with no proper follow through or interest in the later episodes and I agree less episodes equal a better budget because blockbuster was introduced in flash season 8.....terrible....and as Ben said we all want DC to do better as both Marvel and DC compete against each other but have THE best fan base in the world.
How's it a stretch. before the arrowverse there was only really one superhero tv show that was successful, Smallville, and that was the exception. They proved that superhero tv shows could work.

The one thing that I could say that is the worst thing about the arrowverse Making Oliver Queen To Much Like Bruce Wayne it was honestly a joke season after season love interest after love interest
The worst thing about it is their flagship hero was a heartless murderer that everyone loves and adores. Both fans and characters. One who never got the appropriate consequences for the things he did. Unless you count the Crisis thing. But even then the writers had to give him the comfort of it being a "noble sacrifice" only portraying it as that when it should have been portrayed more layered than that. As both a sacrifice and a punishment. It's like they just wanted to erase history. Not only that but never really expressed any grief or regret over them. If so it wasn't felt by me. How can you? I don't remember him ever truly mourning or despairing over the things he did Saying "I'm a monster" with little to no emotion doesn't resonate to me. A guy that once tortured someone to their end just for "practice" Probably the worst instance of writing in the show's history. That's not something the character should have been capable of in any point of time. Whether on Lian Yu or before or after Lian Yu. I could chalk that up to PIS but at the same it did happen and is probably hard not to count against him and make him even more unlikeable and unworthy of investing in.

Idk 🤷♂️ why I hated short seasons before, I see now having 6-13 episodes is okay & is actually a lot better for certain franchises, series etc.

Yeah, but the stretch out number of episodes really consumed most of the budget. Like a little piece of butter, spread over too much bread.
