- Many software engineers facing one real time problem in the IT industry that is after join into the software company what if I would not get project for a long time then shall I continue in the same company or switch to new company, what should I do? Nowadays freshers also facing this situation
I am a fresher and joined a MNC on May 2022. I had my training on June and July. Since August of 2022 till now I haven't received any project. What should I do? It feels bad to see my other friends getting promotions in different companies but I am still sitting and waiting for any information. My manager doesn't reply to me as well. My MNC has 1 year bond and bond period will be over on May this year. Should I leave the company or stay here? I am utilizing the company resources to increase my knowledge but I was trained on SAP whose hands-on practice resources needs money to get. It's not available in the market like Java or python etc.
Don't worry even if you are trained on sap try to learn technologies which are in demand like python data science or full stack which can be easily accessible to learn and practice too for you and try to switch into start up immediately after bond they will only consider your knowledge and skills and you will learn a lot there don't stick to mnc companies even u get 4 years experience in mnc ur knowledge will be less unless u get a gud project learn urself practice take courses bootcamp s be confident adi chalu all d best
Will new company consider the bench situation that not working on any project or it will impact also to get new job?
I joined in a company last year mapped to project after 6 months on bench currently iam in production phase from 4 months but KT sessions aren't started even my manager also not responding what should I have to do please give any suggestions

I recently joined in a software firm as a backend engineer. I have previous experience of 3 years. After I completed my first project in current organization, for a couple of months I didn't have any projects assigned. Now the manager assigned me to a project that I have zero experience and my backend knowledge is not needed there. That project is nothing related to backend development. So what should I do? Is this common in IT companies?, because last 3 years I have worked only in Backend development.

What if you are allocated to project and worked for long time in it but currently you are not getting work, I mean without asking for work.

I joined in Top MNC on 20/Jan/2022 so finally I almost completed 7 months successfully coming to the point Basically iam interested in development side using Java technology but one manager(note:clients need was senior resource)but he has allocated me into testing project it's regression testing in QA environment iam not suppose to do that Because of lack of interest and manager and clients are pushing me to do regression testing end to end flow eqal to senior resource how can I do this but our senior resource in the project one person left and one person getting married so finally they are unable to give KT 's and all things my senior resource also not helping us they are acting infront of manager they are helping no one will not be helping but client not able to listen and manager putting lot of pressure on my head how can I handle this critical situation can you please tell me ?
And one more thing they gave some deadlines to complete 150 test cases all things entire end to end flow untill the regression is passed as fresher how can I complete these all work please suggest what can I do.
