My Story | All I wanted was one fresh breath

Maneesha Ramakrishnan is a survivor of the 2010 Carlton (Bengaluru) fire tragedy that killed at least seven and injured more than 50 people. Inhaling the poisonous gas left her with no voice. She lives with a tracheostomy tube but that does not stop her from smiling, laughing and calling out to her pets.
