    just for you, know this. only in battle network 3, when a time freezing attack is happening, during a pvp battle, you can press Left before the hit connects on megaman to reduce the damage you take by half, and yes it can stack with holy panels

      You don't need to achieve the style to use Super Armour as you can use the Mod Tools in the Navi Customiser to get it without having the actual program

      I can't say with complete certainty. But the idea that it's a game with a different build I'd have to assume their way of randomising the draws would have been both an alternative method and a better method. If you want complete certainty then feel free to join the TeamBN discord which is also for SF fans and ask it there. Way smarter guys than me will be happy to help!

  • @co81385
    @co81385 Před rokem

    I have a small question about Style Changes: can you get the same "Type" of Style twice in a row? For an example, if I had WoodGuts, and I tried to change to a new style, could I possibly get, say, AquaGuts, or would the new style always be a different Type from the one that you already have (kind of like how you always get a different Element from the one that you already have)?

    • @daniellongo6583
      @daniellongo6583  Před rokem +2

      Your suspicions were correct, you are locked from getting the same style twice in a row

  • @Servbot40
    @Servbot40 Před rokem

    I was fairly certain the fist style change in mmbn3 was random. As soon as I got the navi cust I bugged it out to force bug style as quickly as possible and I got custom style even though with buster max up to this point I should have gotten gutz or bug. In all my previous playthroughs I got shadow style and ground style first, even though I didn't put any points into those styles (avoiding invis style chips etc.)

    • @daniellongo6583
      @daniellongo6583  Před rokem +1

      Definitely not random. Theoretically you could have taken, for example, 20 fights before getting the NaviCust and those fights could have all been attributed to custom. Then taken 18 fights after you bugged and you would still get Custom Style as you had more fights where Custom won the point.
      I'm unsure about how you would have attained Shadow Style without Invis. Ground however can come from quite a large range of sources, more commonly the Gutsman Chip or MetalMan Chip which is usually in most people's folder!

    • @Servbot40
      @Servbot40 Před rokem

      @Daniel Longo (Dinglez) except theoretically I should have gotten bug or guts in my last playthrough and I still got custom. Team style would also be more likely than custom as I was manipulating punk to the front of my folder to farm a few chips to have ready for when I did need to clean up the folder. So either it's completely random or it's not working as intended.

    • @DrakodanSRL
      @DrakodanSRL Před rokem +2

      @@Servbot40 It is working as intended, you're just not tracking your points correctly. The Style system has been solved for like 20 years.

    • @Servbot40
      @Servbot40 Před rokem

      @Mark Mark Tanner yeah and for 20 years the first style was always random from what I have experienced.

    • @DrakodanSRL
      @DrakodanSRL Před rokem

      @@Servbot40 Do less fights then. First Style Change can be determined by as few as a bare handful of encounters if you skip all optionals, there's little room for getting the "wrong style" at that point.

    • @daniellongo6583
      @daniellongo6583  Před 11 měsíci +1

      It does, but it's a different method so the slots that have the highest chance to be drawn end up slightly different. Stacking all your best up the top of the folder will still give you massive improvements in draw rate

    Tip 1: don't use the buster, unless you decided you want to user buster max. The regular shots aren't worth it and 95% of the time waiting for the bar to fill is faster and select a new chip than dealing 10dmg manually. Honestly in my opinion it's not even worth it for guts style. Chips are better always.
