I hope you truly understand how much you and other asmr artists help someone like me. I’m not scared to say that I’ve suffered from opioid addiction for many years. (Though I’m going on 12 years drug free.) Unfortunately I inherited severe sleep issues due to addiction. But someone like you have been a god send to ease my mind at night to help fall asleep. I can’t thank you enough!! Congrats on over 100,000!!! It’s only gonna get bigger!
That's what I originally used Gentle Whispering and WhispersUnicorn for, as well as Heather Feather. (The OGs in my opinion) Opioid withdrawal made sleep impossible. I'm so glad I can help. Congratulations on 12 years!!! ❤️

@@fruitypatchouli I knew there was a reason I felt so strongly connected to you. Opioid withdrawal is hell, no other way to say it. I had horrible sleep, didn't know why for years. My mom was giving me opiates and benzos, starting at age 11. I was going through wds at the end of the month every month for years, once I realized what was going on it was too late. I was fully addicted. Of course I continued, she was my dealer for many years. 19 years of addiction, I got sober on my birthday. This November will be 2 years! I'm happy to find out who I really am now.
I've been listening to asmr since before we knew that's what it was called. Back before even CZcams, on message boards where we would share audio clips 😅 or sometimes videos on friendster, Myspace, Photobucket, etc. I'm guessing that's why I'm immune to tingles lol
Anyway, sorry for the long rant. I'm truly just so proud of myself for being able to get out of that addiction, especially since it was the only thing i know. Hell, she was probably giving me stuff even younger for all i know; i had sleeping issues my whole life! She also poisoned me for a few years but that's a different story.
I'm so incredibly proud of y'all!!! Sobriety is amazing, and hard. I have so much love for y'all.
I'm a huge harm reduction > abstinence advocate & still believe opiates have a place in medicine. Also drugs should not be criminalized, we should have free addiction treatment & safe injection sites with clean drugs! Rant over lol

I never even heard of ASMR till I saw you. I started looking for Reiki channels and came across your channel. You're awesome. I'm a recovering addict and suffer from extreme anxiety and when I put my earbuds in and close my eyes I just listen to you I'm instantly relaxed.

Another amazing video and I’ve actually started. I can’t believe I’m saying this to like Tad because I could not stand that on anyone’s videos. It just was so annoying to me and not soothing at all. The only person that has gotten me and I think it’s you not Tad to be honest, that has got me past it making me cringe.
Your voice is so soothing to me, especially when my anxiety is up or I get panic attacks which tends to happen a lot more lately and I don’t wanna take my medicine necessarily I’m so blessed and happy when I see one of your videos come out. You’re so compassionate and so relatable just your smile and every time you get on snapping and hoping everyone’s doing so well right off the bat you’re just so welcoming and your smile is contagious and just your voice again so soothing. Scratching is one of my top triggers and your vids remind me of the role-plays Whisperunicorn would do. There's one spa video she did where she does scalp scratching at the end for like 1 minute and I remember replaying that over and over. I always wished there was a longer version and now you have so many I can choose from! I love your presence, you deserve all the good things!
