I'm a quiet person when I first meet anyone in general. It isn't ever because I'm hesitant to know that person. I just open up more on a one-on-one conversation rather than in a group setting. I would get nervous when I was in high school whenever the teacher would tell us to stand up & introduce ourselves or when they tell us to do a scavenger hunt aka mingle with classmates! But then when I do get to know a person better & become friends with him or her, conversations typically have no end! xD
I am the same way! Whenever the teacher did those mingle scavenger hunts I would never really have anywhere to go or anyone to talk with and sometimes just stayed in my desk because of my social anxiety. I hated having to do activities like that :/
LMAO! When you said "if there was an awkward silence, we would leave & say that, yeah she really wasn't talking to me..." That is SOOOO true! I admit that I've said that in the past :'D
I dunno why but it made me laugh around 12:30 in the vlog. when wah was yelling and you could hear weylie say "shhh" LOL

Me too! I'm terrible at keeping up with conversations! I never know what to say, and I over think what I'm going to say so long that I just end up not saying anything all :/ It sucks..

My dad used to be a waiter in the restaurant in Oakland Chinatown! Whenever I watch Weylie's vlogs, I see them go to places that I go to all the time, but I never run into them. One day, I will be lucky enough!
Hold up, wait a minute, since when have we gotten through 300 vlogs? At first when I saw this in my sub box, I'd just woken up from a nap and seriously thought I'd missed a lot, don't play with me like that...
I live in VA, and I love how they vlog all the places they go in CA & what they do, etc. I can't wait to visit all these food places ! It just keeps the vlogs interesting etc. Thanks ! ☺️

Me and my friends are comfortable enough with each other that our awkward silences aren't so awkward anymore haha :) But when I was first getting to know them I felt like I had to talk every second to keep the conversation going and not seem boring to them haha

Your China Town is peaceful compared to the China Town here in New York.. Oh and over in Flushing in Queens on Main Street oh lord it's like Korean/Chinese town and its mad packed!! I leave with anxiety.. But not without my Paris Baguette :)

Ohh i miss listening to Cantonese. The only time i hear it is when i go to my parents or when i watch you're vlogs. Since i speak so little of it now, i don't think i'll be able to speak it. I'll only be able to listen.
When I talk to people I really click with it's like an ongoing conversation. If I'm not close to them and/or they're just an acquaintance then there's awkward silence. I don't like the awkward silence and I tend to get really uncomfortable so I usually try to keep things going but sometimes the other person seems to be okay with it so I just let it be lol. I'm a guy and I've had awkward silences with guys and girls.
