There's nothing that really makes bags "men's" or "women's" besides societal gender norms. I see fashion moving towards genderless for both accessories and clothing - obviously the fit with clothing is a consideration.

Did you try on other sizes Sardine bags???? This seems a bit too big

Yeah, this is definitely too big, especially for me. I tried the mini sardine bag because it also had a crossbody/shoulder strap but that was too small and the flat shape made it so it didn't hold much at all.

Do you think the handle is too heavy to compare with the material and straps?

It’s on the heavier side, but it doesn’t affect the shape of the bag when you’re using the shoulder straps. It feels like it’s a solid piece of metal rather than being hollow.

great looking bag. what happened to the handle? does it get very easily chipped?

The nicks and marks are part of the design and is unique on all of the sardine handles, but the metal itself is very substantial and not easily damaged.

i feel like i wouldnt trust carrying a laptop or anything heavy.... having trust issues with those string straps...lols.

Haha, that's a fair point. The leather does feel very sturdy, but it might deform the shape of the bag
