True, although counterpoint when you're shaping, each and every hair doesn't have the same potential to totally ruin the end product. I think I just did pretty good with my sparser brows except I accidentally pulled a single wrong hair on one side and... oof. 😬
True 😩 I have thick eyebrows but it just always looks like I’m mad or sad because they’re so dark and I also grow an annoying noticeable unibrow 😢

For beginners, I highly recommend plucking as you draw your brow. Draw a few light strokes with a pencil to start figuring out what shape you like, then you can pluck/shave off a few hairs you know for sure you don’t want. Keep alternating between drawing a few strokes and shaving/plucking. When I first started learning how to shave/pluck, I constantly shaved the wrong parts and removed more hairs than I wanted.
That's what I do! How do I space out the hairs in my brows?! Lol
Im 13 years old and i really wanna learn how to shape them properly. This helped a lot!

I have different brow shapes on both sides and it's such a headache. Left side has the straight brow and right side is much higher and has an arch.

So i've never done my eyebrows but finally decided to try it out. I've watched 20 or so tutorials on youtube and yours is by far, far the best. You explained some basic things which no one else addressed and I'm strictly watching beginner videos so they should have. Thank you SO much for this. When I pluck my brows I also try to stand back here & there to make sure I don't go over board with plucking - which has happened way too many times lol also the editing on your recent videos has been really nice! xx

@@aeracrew Yess! And the good thing about Covid is that I have to learn how to pluck my brows properly by myself at home. Not only for this time period, but for the future - it's a bit frustrating relying on a cosmetician which is time and money consuming..

this is great! but i'm so sad the front of my brows are really sparse..it's easy to overdo them with a pencil/powder
maybe try using a lighter powder for that area instead of a dark gel/pomade? yeah when you overdo that area it makes you look angry haha

@@love_afk7554 Hi! It's not bad at all. Especially after the first hair, you don't notice it hardly at all.
As a general rule, step back every minute or so, because when you’re really dialed in on the small details, it’s easy to lose track of how much you’ve done. The overplucked look is hard to conceal and if you fall into that trap too often hair will literally just stop growing and you’ll end up with permanently skinny brows. So it’s smart when you’re a rookie to switch back and forth between eyes and only take off a little at a time so you’re not constantly chasing evenness and so you don’t step back all at once and go “oh my god what did I do?”

Bcoz of covid 19, I managed to pluck the brows with threads. I know it hurts a little bit first, you can't do very much bcoz of hurting your finger. Now, I am a pro beginner, I can do upperlip, eyebrows very finely!! Thank you for this video!! Bcoz, some points that I don't know...

i used to hate shaving my eyebrows because when they are half growing out, its so dam hard to glue them down with gluesticks for cosplay. so i gave up altogether, but i suppose natural brows colored with concealer and eyeshadow can be quite nice.
see my problem is that I have thick brows. really thick. but then I have sparse hair. and once I tried to shave them and they look slightly different. ya know??

my eyebrows are right on, if not almost below, my brow bone.If I pluck so that they sit on top, there would be very little left. Should I leave them? I feel like there isn't the most space for me to apply eye makeup because there is less space, but I don't wanna have too sparse brow.
if only i could see your brows and help you haha i say if you’re ok with the general shape of your current brows, keep its shape and just remove some excess in the monobrow area + your eyelids, then use products like pencil and brow gel/wax to tidy them!
