- Hopefully the quality is better on my local recording this time around, I tried some new OBS settings this time. Overall decent run, a few unfortunate deaths so this can definitely be improved.

Hey! Not sure why this video is getting a bunch of attention all of a sudden, maybe it's because of the new Modern Warfare 2022 coming out soon? Either way, thank you all for being here and watching the run. I just wanted to clarify a few things about the run that seem to be confusing to some people:
Am I taking less damage than normal? No. All of these levels were played on veteran. On PC and on high framerates, even things like damage taken and health regen are skewed from what you would be used to if you played on PS3 or Xbox. Veteran Spec Ops on console is much harder to run due to taking more damage in general.
Am I speed hacking or moving faster than normal? No. Again, on PC your framerate has a huge affect on how the game runs. If your framerate goes higher than 300, weird things start to happen. Things like climbing ladders are very weird on these high framerates (15:52) and they get weirder the higher you go. I recently capped my FPS to 240 and the game runs much smoother now and my movement has improved.
Can you do this on console? Yes! It would be harder to run on console, but everything done in this run is possible on console. Yes, even the strafe movement and strafe jumps. A good player on the right sensitivity can strafe better on a controller than I can on PC. I promise I'm not that good.
The current world record is held by Klooger at a 40:47. His run is quite good and has few mistakes. I'd encourage you all to check him out. He runs all the Call of Duty games on PC and he streams his runs on Twitch at twitch.tv/Klooger . He's much better at this than I am and he was my inspiration to try this run in the first place.

Best COD ever. These missions were one of the best part of the game.
Seriously was. They’re calling the next call of duty “modern warfare 2” and I really hope they get back to how this game played and felt. I know nostalgia creates some favoritism but nothing has been as cool as this CoD with just how epic everything felt.

Holy shit I thought I never would’ve seen a MW2 spec ops speed run but here I am.
It’s currently 2 AM as I’m watching this and it brought back so many memories as a kid when i used to try to beat these on veteran and thought it was impossible lol.

Back in the day we'd love to shit on MW2 and MW3. " mw2 mw3 are glorified DLCs that just advance the storyline without upgrading much of the gameplay", people used to say before COD Ghost.
Oh, what we'd trade for a game the same caliber of those 2 now..

Mw2 was, is, and always will be the best Call of Duty ever… every single aspect of this game was top-tier… the only let down for me was it’s lack of security allowing for mod-menu’s to plague it continually for what felt like an eternity, but the actual game itself.. unbeatable.
Literally days of my life summarized so quickly and so masterfully. Well done.

Crossing my fingers hoping that ACTUAL Spec Ops comes back for this years game. Anyway, it's always strange to watch games you used to struggle with just being demolished by a speedrunner.
Man nice speedrun, in a few missions on the spec ops I couldn´t pass the missions, but when I watched your video this helped me like a guide to pass the missions. I replayed this game in 2023 again.

That was awesome! I played a ton of spec ops growing up with my brother, we sunk hours into attempting to complete everything at veteran difficulty over the years. It’s crazy seeing how quickly you were able to complete everything, especially O Cristo Redentor, never would’ve thought akimbo UZIs would work so well lol.
They are the best 44 minutes spent of my life, greetings from Argentina! (I used a translator because I don't know how to speak English)

My man beat O Cristo in 2:28 but I could barely beat it in 15:00 and that was after about 5 or 6 attempts. My man is a gamer for sure.

Snatch and Grab on Veteran is hardest one and it's interesting how it can ruin speedruns shown here (as in lose alot of time due to dying alot). It's such a brutal level. Wonderful job though very interesting to watch after going through all of the solo spec ops levels and seeing how fast people complete it.
Wardriving is way harder. I have quite literally never managed to even 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 a single download and I have three stars on every other spec ops mission.

@@ProfUPS I do not know, I just got instakilled almost every time as soon as I left the bridge where you start. I did manage to get to the last download once a few days ago actually, and for a couple games before I managed to start the first download before dying and die running to the second house respectively but I played a few games after and the same thing happened. I guess I just get really bad spawns and the guys who shoot at you from behind the brickwork as you approach the first house have an angle on me from the start.
This mode on veteran will make you an FPS legend, no game can reach this type of quality and crazyness. The music also makes it better along with the voices

I never knew the juggs died so fast to headshots with the thumper... i always used the out of bounds area to cheese em around the stairs
This and TImespliiters really make you an FPS legend if you ace them. No games can reach that moment. It is like you're playing a completely different game that keeps you engaged
When I used to play this alot at one point I figured out that if you leave the enemies alone in the start of a level no more would spawn later in the level making it alot about if you can just survive the first part of it and run away it was an easy clear, I feel that levels like snatch and grab would be way harder without this mechanic
Snatch and Grab is the hardest Spec Ops mission to this day

Nostalgia. I played with my friend on Xbox 360. We tried do all mission on veteran but we were too weak for this level haha. Now I'm waiting for Modern Warfare II beacuse mwii will have spec ops
Call of duty can never be this good again. Snipers, shotguns, smgs, lmgs, ars, launchers, stun grenades, sprinting to dodge bullets, melee all highly effective. It's hard to imagine a game that's not out of balance now. Usually everyone wants to max out the same 2 or 3 guns. That are broken and then when new guns come out with dlcs they are the new best weapons so everyone wants to pay to get them.

If enough enemies are alive in the previous sections the game can't spawn any more inside the final room when you breach

Are you playing in 60 fps or is it the video quality making it look incredibly smooth?
I'm playing this in like 300 fps or something. If you watch Hidden, you can see me climb the ladder way faster than normal, and this is because of playing on high framerate. I recently fixed a lot of my settings so the game should look even better and smoother in the future.
