all i can say and this is after watching a considerable number of your vids is - if i had an engine that needed work doing on it i couldn`t think of anyone else i would rather entrust with the task. not only do you know your "stuff" but you have an almost uncanny attention to detail. obviously this is not just a job to you, it is a profession, it is your niche in life it is always a pleasure to watch you at work and admire your skill and modesty in what you achieve.
As mentioned before, the best engineering channel. IF I were to be unlucky and my S54 needed machining. This guy would end up with it on his bench. He really knows what he’s doing.
Thank you for being so honest I don't know any of you but it's nice hearing things like that
Definitely did not think this video was boring. I've been enjoying watching all your videos, and this one in particular.
There’s a lot of integrity and honesty in this video James, well said, as you mentioned you are happy to share information which I find in the competition end of engine building is not so common, keep doing what you are doing matey 👍👍👍👍
Well done for speaking about the cross flow strip and honest comments and how you addressed the previous builder. Keep up the fab vids
James
Thanks for clarifying the crank balance situation. You do it one way I do it another way . Either way gives the same end result which is what matters. Superb looking workshop.

Have watched all your videos and your skill., passion and honesty shine through. Would fhave no hesitation in bringng an engine to you for repair. Not so sure a out making a birthday cake though. All the best for the future.
😂😂 thanks Ray, hopefully it tasted okay. He never commented though
Absolutely love your videos James, and you sound like one of the most genuine, knowledgeable guys I've ever seen on here who goes out of the way to help...… like you I consume everything engine related day and night when I'm not in the shop. books, videos, anything i can get my hands on, and i have to say i enjoy these videos the most because you go into such great detail. Because i have to rely on others to do the machining end for me, i really enjoy the videos on using the machines. Keep up the great work, and keep the videos coming. best of look in the new shop! Just a shame you're across the pond so i could throw you some work!! All the best from Ireland
Thanks for the really nice post Mark, I always try to treat people how I expect to be treated and I never wanted to upset the original builder so I thought a quick video was needed.. what do you build mostly?
Your work and passion speaks for itself james. You are working so hard to make it work keep it going you fast man 👍👌

I've just come across your channel and I'm hooked. I'm in the process of building an engine for my Peugeot 205 GTi rally car. Have you don much work with that engine?
@@graceenginedevelopments Hopefully doing a video. I'll be watching with interest. Great videos and great presentation.
All you engine builders are spinning the cranks too slow when you balance.
#clickbait #fakenews it’s a good job your good looking.
I ain't to sure it's clickbait, I don't like it.. but you're right about me being good looking 😘
A more genuine guy you could not meet than yourself mate. It shows in your work your attitude everything. Thats why your my go to and who I recommend to anyone for engine work. Hope everything all going well.
