These guys are just insanely good musicians. I saw them live and now the only thing I want to do is see them again. Musical magicians
Des bons p'tits gars ceux-là dis-donc ... A suivre bien entendu. 😀
Where's the bongo's guy? 🤔
The evolution of the final song is perfect even when he cuts the guitar string...
Cheers to those who are now discovering these gentlemen, magic music blesses your soul 🫣🫣✨✨ much love everyone

I'd love them to find a GOOD singer and play disco-funk
Great music, not so good filming.
It's good, sometimes great even, but new jazz writers needs to get off their lazy repetitive beats and keyboard swirls and actually write something with changes and bridges and choruses.
I both get and don't get what you mean. there exist both, even if the others may be more traditional leaning. first I thought of however was chelsea carmichael. there are several good jazz trios since est too, like gogo penguin. maybe not what you mean, or maybe you want the best of two worlds in some way ;
@@RayasNegroOvejas hello pj, thanks for replying. I'm saying that most new jazz, which don't get me wrong, I both love and voraciously collect, is just built on repetition. In my house I gots AlfaMist, Vels Trio, L'ECLAIR, K15, Sven Wunder, Awkward Corners, Kinkajous, Yousef Kamal, lots of 22a, International Anthem etc. Some of what's here is playable over and over and will probably stand the test of time, but lots will be forgotten. The major labels from back in the day: Prestige, Fantasy, Groove Merchant, Muse, Cobblestone, not to mention Strata East and Strata, etc they had good writers who wrote with just a little more complexity, depth, detail. Not complaining just want more from today's current crop. Apologies for the rather long answer.
Check out Emma Jean Thackeray
@@ykms2058Yes, I know of her tunes, thanks. Just found a dude from NZed, Lucien Johnson. Tell me what you think.....
