For anyone trying to figure out the matchup... reminder Majima has canonically dodged point-blank gunshots from a professional assassin and regularly fights a man that can pulverize a marble statue in one punch
Setsuna Kiryu killed the guy who killed Niko Tokita, who could deflect bullets with his forearm. He then fought Ohma who could train for 7 minutes underwater while holding his breath and felled several trees with a single blow.
@@nosaizen1023 Yakuza is very stylized game so it’s not entirely sure what is counted but Majima can produce afterimages with his speed, make tornadoes and even survive an orbital cannon strike. There is an argument these don’t count and are heavily stylized but if you want to be as loose as possible, Yakuza characters can get pretty crazy.
Even without that, scaling to Kiryu that can survive explosions visible from a distance makes him pretty strong regardless. Kiryu scaling is not debatable wether it counts so Majima still is stronger than you might first think.
@@freshpuppy2142 The Shadow Clone Jutsu seems very much plausible due to its appearance in Yakuza 5 as well, and both Goro Majima and Kazuma Kiryu are capable of fighting against the Amons (absolutely ridiculously powerful assassins capable of even mimicking the two legends' fighting styles) and winning. Not just that, but Majima is RIDICULOUSLY durable himself, as he was somehow capable of fighting Kiryu day in and day out, and yet that JUST WASN'T ENOUGH FOR HIM!

Finally, a Yakuza track. So good to see one! Kengan Ashura is one of those anime that I've on list to see eventually. This track goes hard in the metal with the little tones of choirs like sounds, that'd fit a Yakuza game perfectly.
I recommend the manga, the anime is good. But the manga has more plot threads that get concluded

The soundtrack is one of the reasons I got some interest in Kengan Ashura, because many friends told me the music is badass. Then surfing through TvTropes, I saw that Kengan Ashura has a "Awesome Music" page, and that already says a lot.

Man, so glad to hear a Yakuza-based track! Almost gives me hope someone might do Kiryu Kazuma vs Ryo Hazuki. Yeah, it would probably be a curbstomp fight, but it was either that or Kiryu vs Lan Di when we don't even know the full capabilities of the latter.
OH SHIT. I have been talking about yakuza and how the characters scale to fighting anime like kengan and baki lately. Unfortunately Majima and Kiryu stomp a lot of the cast in both shows. Kiryu by yakuza 7 being able to run the entire gauntlet with how stupidly strong he is.

Reminder that a lot of the nuttier stuff in Yakuza 7 is just Ichiban's imagination, and he doesn't have Baki-style imagination attacks. So Kiryu still doesn't have anything that scales him to the earthquake feat.
...unless you wanna chain-scale him to Kenshiro via Jo Amon, but that feels kinda contentious.

Actually, saejima, when punching his hardest can cause an earthquake that can knock several people over. In yakuza 5 kiryu takes multiple DIRECT punches from saejima who is trying his best to take Kiryu down and he was fine.
Saejima was also able to stop multiple speeding cars at him just by kinda , bracing a bit. And kiryu hit him hard enough to knock him out.
So many in the comments say that Majima would win and while I do agree. Don’t underestimate Kiryu Setsuna, my man Majima would walk away with half his body twisted and messed up because dealing with Rakshasa's Palm, Blink, low level Niko style techniques and his ultimate move Fallen Demon without knowing of them is borderline impossible without majima's insane skillset and if Majima wasn't Peak condition I could see him lose this match.

Now those are two series I respectively know only because of the memes and that I don't know at all. So can't say if the matchup works at all.
However one thing that works to be sure is the song itself. It's not too intensive but it's extremely agressive for a few reasons ranging from the percussions to the guitar. And I really like that atmosphere. Makes the theoretical fight seem way more serious than it would otherwise.
Add to that the bits such as 1:52-2:03/2:04-2:14 (which go in pair but there's a noticeable difference so I'm splitting them) that give the song an almost "godly" feel, as if it's two divinities that are fighting, and you've got yourself a battle that truly feels like it's a brutal and serious battle where both characters aren't pulling any punches and not leaving their opponent any chances.
The "pre-ending" at 2:34-2:56 furthers that by having that almost strident feel with the build up to the ending itself which makes it appear as if both characters are being backed up against their respective corners, giving it their all but even then the other still manages to keep up with them, resulting in a fast escalation of the battle. And then you've got the ending itself at 2:57-3:39 which is the epitome of that "godly" feel I mentioned earlier with the chanting, something present in other bits of the song before, coming back stronger and more noticeable than at all other times in the song as if both characters are now truly unleashing their most powerful techniques and physical prowess' to defeat the other character.
And finally there's the true finale at 3:23-3:39 which makes me think that this is where one of the two characters gets defeated, the abrupt shift between the chanting and the much more aggressive guitar making it seem as if it's not over a long and lasting clash but after one single mistake that the other character did that the winner gets the edge and defeats the other, the brutal guitar making me think that the death would be long and gruesome, something raw and violent.
Now like I said I don't know anything about either franchises however I do believe there's no supernatural abilities in either which may make some of what I said seem weird but I feel like in a way it's a really good thing to have those "heavenly" bits because it elevates those otherwise "normal" and non-superhuman characters to feel much stronger, as if their mastery of their combat prowess' allows them to reach superhuman status.
That or my lack of knowledge of both series is causing me to spit out absolute bullcrap, which is totally possible too. But it'd be less fun so I hope it isn't.

As someone who read the manga of kengan ashura, you're not exactly, wrong, as due to a really messed up childhood, Kiryu may look pretty but once you try to hurt his Ohma or him...you're facing the Beautiful Beast, who will gladly twist your arm or heart at best so yeah.

But also recommend reading Kengan ashura and Kengan omega pretty epic but brutal fighting manga series, good read although ashura packs more action, omega has more unique stories(and deaths kind of like game of thrones) so yea. Or just watch the two seasons of the Netflix anime of Kengan ashura.

I would love to see Ben and glitch from Ben 10 2016 vs Danny phantom and Dani phantom from Danny phantom. In other words to alien using characters vs to ghost characters (plus both glitch and Dani have Ben and Danny's abilities but use them differently such as glitch fusing DNA with tech or Dani using ecto blasts to cut through stuff and use with her kicks and punches.) And both Dani and glitch look really similar to Ben and Danny yet also different. PS considering Ben and Glitch can reach planet level on their own well I never said this was a fair fight. To bad I don't have money.
