Had marrow butter at a fancy steakhouse once and have never stopped thinking about it. I'm so happy you showed me how to make. Thank you.
I’m going to try this for sure! I’ve never grown to love the taste plain either!! I will try making broth with the bones then adding it back in instead of ice for an extra boost of nutrition 🤞xxx
Yes! Freeze the broth! ❤
OMG as a kid I would eat the marrow from roast bones all the time.😂
oh wow! This is awesome. I bought them once and had about the same reaction as you, lol! Ok I'm trying again! This is genius!
I always felt strange because people rave about how delicious it is! 😆 It's such a delicacy!
@@IndigoNili ahhhhh, ok lol! Yours really looks like something I'd be excited to try!
OMG!!! I grew up eating roasted bone marrow, my family and I all love it. This technique takes it to another level. Thank you for sharing.
Somehow I think little bacon bits mixed in would b awesome…..yum
You, My Dear, are brilliant!! I LOVE marrow & never get enough with a lil steak or chop!!

Are You on computer or i thing?
Thank You for trying ☺️
I love marrow, I never knew you could buy marrow bones. Now I am on the hunt for them!
Sprouts has them … Grass Run Farms. Is awesome.. their bones are top quality…
@@SheriMorgan Thank you, I was planning on going there next week for my grocery shopping, definitely adding them to my list!
I love roasted bone marrow too, right out of the oven. I think this recipe might just make a nice dip for pork rinds. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for this great recipe! I was directed to your channel by Anita, Karnivore Woman. I look forward to future videos.
I love Anita! Welcome!
OH MY WORD I cant wait to try this. I get grass fed marrow bones every time I go to the farmers market, but I just roasted them and made bone broth. Bones and marrow went to neighbors dog...WOW, I could have been eating this all these years....LOL
OMG !!! I love bone marrow. I would have ate all of it after coming out of the oven, but definitely trying this. My mouth is watering….
I have a bunch of marrow bones in my freezer from the cow we bought. I actually can eat it as is baked and then put on steak or roasts. But this looks super delicious and adding the carnivore crisps takes it to whole nother level. I can see why Levi would be eating that like candy.
You could use a icecube tray , for single use cubes
Oh wow! Brilliant idea! I'm thinking a Bone Marrow Mayonnaise could be made from this as well. Especially with that thick consistency you get. May not even need the oil that is normally required. Again, great video!
I’ll have to go in search for marrow bones!
I’ve never tried bone marrow but this looks do-able. I will try it. Looks unbelievable on top of a steak!
I love bone marrow but must admit when you were plopping it out, I was like ewww. Whipped looks absolutely delicious though! Thank you for the video!
I was also thinking the same thing!!!! Lololol!!!!!!! I love that you wrote what you were thinking!!! Thanks!!! Lol!!!
Can't wait to try this period I too have never been able to enjoy the taste And consistency of bone marrow.
Oh does that look good. Can't wait to try this. I'm on clear liquids today for colonoscopy tomorrow and this just made me so hungry!
LOVE that your child loves this. Wish I'd known about this my babies were weaning. I'm in AWE of you. So well done 👏👏
I love this idea! I've wanted to start eating as close to nose to tail as possible but it just seemed overwhelming trying to figure it out. Thank you for this and please give us more ideas.
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe. I can't wait to make it.
Those same bones can make up to 12 batches of delicious bone broth! Add a tablespoon of vinegar each batch of 4 cups of water and the bones. Do it over and over for healthy bone broth. The vinegar pulls the nutrients out of the bones into the water. Add salt. Freeze the extra. Yum!
Do you mean, only add 1 bone to the 4 cups of water. Also how long do you boil or simmer the combination. New to basic scratch cooking. Thank you.
@@passinthru9757 No, use them all each time you make broth. You will be amazed at how they keep on giving! Toss them when you don't get enough return. I often don't make more than 3 or 4 batches but there's a video out there (on CZcams I think) where they got 12 decent batches from similar bones and just finally quit trying. The latter batches were lighter weight, but in down grid situation, or tight budget, they will provide more than expected.
I am wondering if the same would hold true for chicken feet for chicken bone broth? I just made 4 batches out of about 60 chicken feet, but I didn't know I could reuse them for MORE batches! DARN!!!! I threw them AWAY!!!! Boooooo hooooo!!! But, they did look as if EVERYTHING had been boiled out of them. Maybe chicken feet are different than beef bones??? Hmmm?
@@lauriecarlson4672 The fact you got 4 batches from chicken feet was awesome, and a brilliant move! That broth is delicious! Knowing they looked pretty wiped out is a clue you were close to their end because they are softer than bones and you can kind of tell. But when I saw the experiment on the beef bones, and they just kept going with more batches I was surprised they got good results on number 12. If you have the room for storing the broth, go for 5 or even 6. Who knows? And then when you find the actual limit you can help people in comment sections, lol. Hey you already helped me. Good luck!
@@flatterearth Yes! I'm happy I was able to help!!! Awesome!!! I'm happy what I did was okay, too!!! I was worried about it! Worried I didn't provide enough nutrition in the bone broth! I share what I make with a friend who is suffering from what was prostate cancer that has since metastasized to other organs and into his bones. I "try" to do what I can to help provide a little extra nutrition for him here and there...as well as for myself and my roomie. Thank YOU dearly for assuring me I DID do well!!! I REALLY appreciate the feedback!!! Bless you!!!!
That is a very interesting recipe.....thank you.... -Silvia NY
OMG THIS IS AMAZING!!! ❤ thank you so much ❤
Thank you so much for this recipe, I cant wait to try!
Love bone marrow
YUMMMMY! 🦴😋❤ Thank you for yet another great idea! 💡
What is this socercy? Like you I cannot think of eating that as it comes from the oven. I can't eat fat unless very crisp so that...oh no way. I have texture issues and that would turn me off BUT whipped. Nili you are a creative genius. I have been thinking on how to get stuff like marrow and liver into my diet. I bet I can even get hubby to eat it. Thank you kitchen Goddess. Just ordered bpnes to try.
This. Is. Genius. 🤤
This is just genius, thank you.
Brilliant!
That is one thing I am sure won't be happening at my house. Thanks for showing it though, because I might run into someone who would love it! I tell lots of people about your channel, when they are reacting to the photos I post and say it came from you :)
Wow this looks awesome amazing and simple I will have to try it sometime.
I LOVEEEEE this recipe!!! Thank you DEARLY!!!!!! My farmer LOADED ME UP with femur bones!!! HALF my 14 Cubic foot freezer on the door is LOADED with femur bones in freezer bags and I've been DYING to make ANYTHING with the marrow AND bone broth as well!!!!
PLEASE if you have ANY Bone Broth recipes with the leftover femur bones like you have, I'd LOVEEEEE to see you make YOUR recipe, PLEASE!!!!!
2 uses out of the SAME bones is AMAZING!!!!! I'm so GLAD you told us they CAN still be used for Bone Broth! Amazing!!!
I'd REALLY PREFER YOUR recipe over ANY other recipes out there!!! I 100% TRUST YOU the MOST when it comes to nutrition filled foods over anyone else!!! Thanks, Nili!!!
I’m going to try this.
Look so yummy 😋💚💚💚
Finally ordered lmnt...been feeling crappy a lot... i thought it was my blood sugar but it's not... so going to give this a shot. Used your link!
Awesome! I hope it does the trick for you!
@@IndigoNili hope so! Would be nice!!
Made this today. So delicious! I used frozen beef bone broth ice cubes. Thank you!
Grate it into your bread recipe
The next time your in the dollar store look for a long handled spatula to get all the goodness out of your jars.
Our grocery store no longer carries them, but they were called pipe bones. I liked the marrow; I guess my anemic body knew what I needed.
On holiday in Turkey and now fantasizing about marrow 'buttter' and how to flavour when I get home!
Thank you for sharing this recipe Nili!! I eat roasted bone marrow everyday… can’t wait to try this!! Love&light from California 💖💖
I've never tried the marrow. I always gave that to my dogs with the bones. I'll have to break their little hearts and try for my self. Sad because them trying to get the marrow is the best part to watch.
After I saw this the first time I bought two bags of bones from my dealer, of grassfed beef, direct from the farm. The bags weighed about 10 pounds each for $8 a bag cdn ($4US😊). I roasted one bag. I got 3 servings of trimmings off the bones which are great airfried with some salt and bone broth. I may never buy just meat again 😁 I passed your idea on to Ketogenic Woman as she was trying to get a taste for marrow. I'm going to try adding browned butter.
What a great idea! Thanks! 💙🦋💙
❤
Wow!
Thank you for another awesome video! Question, how long can you keep the whipped bone marrow in the fridge?
I use a pressure cooker. I have a bowl with its own lid, which fits inside the pressure cooker, sitting on the cooking rack (trivet). I put in 6-8 cups of water (the bow starts out floating), and fill the bowl with the bones - chicken, beef, pork - whatever kind. I check for safety, bring the cooker up to pressure, and process for an hour, even an hour and a half. I let it cool on its own. This procedure actually pulls nutrients out of the bones - they become soft and crushable. All that nutrition is in the broth at the bottom of the bowl.
Be careful when giving the cooked bones to your dog. They should never have cooked bones of any type and the marrow bones are too hard for strong chewers. They can easily fracture or break a tooth. Not only would that be painful for the dog but it would be excruciating for your wallet. Small dogs that dont chew very hard might be alright with marrow bones.
They also splinter which is very dangerous
I hope everyone sees the warning. No cooked bones for dogs period.
I am a senior and I have given my dogs cooked bones except chicken bones. As of right now I have 3. My oldest is a Yorkie I've had since he was 8 weeks old and his birthday coming up he will be 18. I still give him all kinds of bones and it's only because of his teeth he can't them. He tries though. My dachshund and my rescue love all kinds of cooked bones.
Thank you for this comment! Never ever give a cooked bone to a dog! It can do huge damage, or even kill the poor dog! Nili, please reverse your advice!
@@doggoneme3863 you are very, very blessed. It has turned out badly for so many people, injuring their dogs.
What did you pay per pound for the marrow bones, please? Do you remember?
Gladys🇨🇦
Where do you get those beef and chicken chips?
How long would you say this would last in the fridge? Is it safer to freeze it to prevent spoilage?
Did you see if your original tester Levy still liked it?
He gave it a quick taste and said he didn't like it. I'm going to try again when he's in a better mood! 😆😆
@@IndigoNili Show him that adorable video of him when he was a baby!
I’d be afraid the jar would break…
Only RAW leg bones to dogs
Do NOT give cooked bones to your dogs. They splinter and can cause massive issues for the dog, and massive vet bills for you.
😮😒😝
