This mod requires the latest version of the "Metallicafan212's Harry Potter 2 Engine & Editor" to run. Gameplay was recorded at 1920x1080 resolution, borderless fullscreen, DX9 Renderer, and VSync enabled (60 fps).
The M212 HP2 Engine/Editor not only ships with a fully-fledged editor for the game, but provides support for DirectX 11 rendering, 64-bit, (ultra) widescreen resolutions, borderless window, horizontal+ FOV, uncapped framerate, X360 controller, and more. The New Engine/Editor will keep your game's language.
The Extended Mod is fully localized in the following languages: English UK (INT) and USA, Danish, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese (Portugal), and Spanish. Text translations available in Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.

I literally have to cry that I see so many things been put into this very old game and revived back to life like if it were being brand new.
The library is a really cool addition!
This mod looks great, the changes feel very tasteful and faithful. I look forward to the other parts.
Amazing job!! No words for all of this :)
Nobody:
Harry: ✨ ALOHOMOMORA ✨
4:10 и далее. Это абсолютный восторг!💙 Мне это надо 😅
RIP Colin Creevey
Pr Lockart is THE definition of teachers passionate about their role :) Always enthusiastic and joyful. His only flaw is not being very protective when needed. Funny how two students, Ron and Harry, were more courageous than he was in the Chamber of Secrets.
I think you missed that he was an absolute scam. Everything he said he did was a lie and he bragged with things other wizards did and used Obliviate against them so they forgot
@@meta7517 OMG. And in the movie his spell worked on him instead of Ron. You're right: This probably shows he might not have as much knowledge in wizardry as he wants us to think. And as for scamming and running away when things turn for the worse, doesn't it remind you of another behaviour? Because when I see this I automatically think of narcissistic surroundings of a person. The narc does everything to give this image of the person they manipulate needs. Because the narc knows there are advantages: the victim is caring, understanding, and they will bring the narc what they look for, and of course the narc will have people admire them and say compliments, for example 'How selfless they are', or 'They're so clever and knowledgeable'... Here, Pr Lockhart has been looking for his hour of glory, right? And when the victim hopes for support, the narc walks away. And unfortunately, it's for the victim to gather all their strength they have and act like 20 brains working together on an issue (it's just a figure of speech).
So we're not talking about a person who genuinely wants to succeed regardless of their obstacles and who has no choice beside 'fake it until you make it'. We're talking about 'fake it until they have the impression you're the person they need'.
@@thisisnotanartvideo he was great at Obliviate, which was the only spell he was actually good at, but he used Ron's broken wand which backfired
(Sorry I'm a Harry Potter nerd XD)
@@meta7517 Wow you have noticed details I haven't. 😮 Learning new stuff today thanks to you 😊. So basically Ron's broken wand has Ron saved from this spell.
@@thisisnotanartvideo mostly because I have read the books, some details can be easily missed in the movies but are made more clear in the books
Just as good as the first video
This is great at That.❤️👍🏽
I love the fact that you added bumplines to that Hufflepuff student in the grand staircase, he used to creep me out and I thought he was super rude😂
the game has so many students bump lines I doubt I heard all of them. I don't remember adding bump lines to random Hufflepuff students, so it's likely they've always been in the game
@@divingdeep39 Ahh I mean that Hufflepuff guy buying stuff and making potions in the grand staircase, for some reason he doesn't have any bumplines in the original game, but now in the Extended Mod he has!
Yeah they forgot to assign his bumpset lmao
❤❤❤❤❤
Hello, I've commented before, but I downloaded and applied both the Extended Mode engine and the language support files. It feels a little different when running the game, and Harry's movements and graphics are much cleaner. However, it's currently impossible to enter Hagrid's cabin at night and enter the secret library.
Are there any more files I should download?
Metallicafan212's Harry Potter 2 is the pdf file right? I installed the General file and the Engine file in the folder where I copied the game cd file I have now. It seems to run well, but I'm worried if it's slightly different from what you're playing.
Looks like you haven't installed everything correctly. Please, uninstall the game and delete the new engine files, then start over. Follow the "0_Instructions_FAQs.pdf" doc to the letter, don't skip any step. You must install the base game first, then the M212 Engine, and at the end apply the Extended mod.
10/10 mod, but i'm curious, could you not just jump around the ectoplasm in the gnome secret?
Give it a go ;)
No you cannot.
Why was Bronze Wizard Card "Ethelred the Ever-Ready" moved?
It was in the chest under the grand staircase. I thought it would be best to place it in one of the most forgotten secret areas in the map.
I wonder why the library wasn’t included in the original version of this game.
What made the developers remove it?
It's a custom map I created just to add more content to the mod :) since the PC version is the only one without a library, I thought it'd be a nice idea to have it.
I love this rendition. It feels as if it was included in the final version.
@@RubbleByte One of the promo images of the game features the library's hallway.
