I was a 'Lost', Demon possessed , Violent, Drug user, Dealer, Pusher, Deep in the Occult and Magic, Full Contact Martial Arts Instructor, Thief, Liar, Womanizer and oh yeah.. a former Rock N' Roll lead guitarist and singer who on August 18th. 1978, I was going to commit SUICIDE! I met a wonderful woman, Danise, a few days before who I was very uncomfortable around but She had so much Love and Peace in her that drove me crazy! Her Christian girlfriend Sharron, had a dream about me and said " Joe has to get 'SAVED' tomorrow! They took me to A Christian Concert. Brother Barry Maguire was singing and sharing his testimony. Long story short, he said " You can leave here the same way you came in or become a 'New' person in Jesus! I tried the old, suicide was beckoning me but, I cried out to Christ to 'SAVE' ME! I heard and saw 2 large DEMONS come out my Body when I asked Jesus to come into my heart and SAVE ME! [Romans 10:9,10] I had a powerful encounter with the True and Living God! I felt the Power of God 'filling' me from head to toe! [Joel 2:28-32, Acts 2:4, Mark 16:18; 1Cor.14th. Chapter.] i have been Saved now for 42 years! I married that wonderful woman who demonstrated to me what a real Christian is by her Love and Devotion to our Loving Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!! I was called later to play and sing and Preach in churches, homes and on the streets! My wife and I share Christ with anybody and everywhere we go! [Prov. 11:30] Jesus Christ is returning soon! Suicide was attempted in high school. I didnt measure up to anyones expectations. But through many years of self destruction, I found Christ. I remember this song so close to my heart. Same here, I battled with postpartum depression, was about to commit suicide, but HE stopped me and healed me in an instant. Never went to the doc. I was afraid they would put me in a mental institution, because of the evil voices in my head. Thank YOU JESUS, for healing me.

This song has my former life written all over it. I had this cassette, yes I said cassette, and listened to it all the time. But I never listened to the words. It wasn't until after I was saved that the words began to make so much sense. While using the first stanza and Chorus to write to my blog, tears began to flow knowing that this is what happened to me, God gave me His time. And He smiled into my life. His voice broke the stone that encased my heart making in flesh. I a very saddened angry young man I was deeply sad depressed life- true sorrow and sadness going through life hardships experiences etc... life was very difficult and this song lifted supported and encouraged me... to try life again... A reminder to people to understand the Simple Kindness giving to others makes a huge difference When you're called to love someone for a minute... do so.... it can change their life- more than you can ever express- like this song did to me... When I gave birth to my first child I was unwed. My family, my friends, my church all turned their back on me. I was so alone. I needed help more than ever, but nobody cared, not anyone. I discovered this song which helped me get through the suffering, but I will never forget the heartbreak. +Patricia Ribaric The Lord Jesus said I desire mercy and not sacrifice. You need to study this in Matthew 9:13 Hosea 6:6. People were wrong to not give you mercy but you must totally forgive them. This is my testimony too. When I was going through shatter broken dreams and just wanted to die I truly met Jesus my Savior. Though I had been saved as a young girl and knew Jesus...life and the tests of life..made me search for answers. So many whys and Jesus was there for me why I am here today. Jesus loved me when I was alone afraid and scare he came and comfort me, dry my tears and told me I am his child and He will always be here for me. Praise God for His son Jesus who knows our pain and hurts because he too walked this earth and understands our heartsches and failures in life and lifted me up out of a dark pit and gave me so much love. can understand. raised in church, and I too was saved as a child. i lost my dad to cancer(was a daddy's girl) and a year later my mom got breast cancer. about 2001 or 2 we moved out of our old home(where I grew Up) and durning the time my mom and i lived on the property in a small trailer, while new home was being built, a close friend of my moms also got breast cancer(we had lost another christain friend to cancer, and I found myself saying these words "There is no God. everything I believed is a lie" yes i repented to God for my words, but as I was talking about my questiong my faith to a good friend(who had lost his wife a year before that to cancer) he told me It isn't like God has not heard this before, even His discipes had hard times believeing Him. it's nice to know that there are and were others out there in the same boat. when i was growing up questioning God was something you didin't' do God Bless

We just happened to be there, and were able to participate in this concert by B J Thomas, who was very popular beginning in the late '60s with "Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head", a theme song for a movie. I remember it taking me through many heartbreaking ordeals ever since. In over 30 years of prison ministry, this song is a mainstay for giving hope to those who were given time, but never the time of day.

I am on my knees. Jesus is so forgiving and loving. He brought back an old friend into my life and has pulled me back to Jesus. I will forever be thankful. I need Jesus more now than ever before. He never gave up on me. He was the only one who really stuck with me. My old friend Bill was the one who brought me to Jesus when I was 19. Bill was 21. I had so much hatred, bitterness, & loneliness in my life after my very close sister was murdered & with depression already in my life it just made it so much worse. I'd lay night after night contemplating suicide..at the time I was just 17. Though many things happen to me, before I came to Christ, this was the song that made me realize that He loved me..even if no one else did. He was there for me & He was my friend..How could someone like Jesus Love..me!! I don't know but He did..To Him be the Glory..

This song has my former life written all over it. I had this cassette, yes I said cassette, and listened to it all the time. But I never listened to the words. It wasn't until after I was saved that the words began to make so much sense. While using the first stanza and Chorus to write to my blog, tears began to flow knowing that this is what happened to me, God gave me His time. And He smiled into my life. His voice broke the stone that encased my heart making in flesh. This is my testimony too. When I was going through shatter broken dreams and just wanted to die I truly met Jesus my Savior. Though I had been saved as a young girl and knew Jesus...life and the tests of life..made me search for answers. So many whys and Jesus was there for me why I am here today. Jesus loved me when I was alone afraid and scare he came and comfort me, dry my tears and told me I am his child and He will always be here for me. Praise God for His son Jesus who knows our pain and hurts because he too walked this earth and understands our heartsches and failures in life and lifted me up out of a dark pit and gave me so much love. can understand. raised in church, and I too was saved as a child. i lost my dad to cancer(was a daddy's girl) and a year later my mom got breast cancer. about 2001 or 2 we moved out of our old home(where I grew Up) and durning the time my mom and i lived on the property in a small trailer, while new home was being built, a close friend of my moms also got breast cancer(we had lost another christain friend to cancer, and I found myself saying these words "There is no God. everything I believed is a lie" yes i repented to God for my words, but as I was talking about my questiong my faith to a good friend(who had lost his wife a year before that to cancer) he told me It isn't like God has not heard this before, even His discipes had hard times believeing Him. it's nice to know that there are and were others out there in the same boat. when i was growing up questioning God was something you didin't' do God Bless

We just happened to be there, and were able to participate in this concert by B J Thomas, who was very popular beginning in the late '60s with "Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head", a theme song for a movie. I'd lay night after night contemplating suicide..at the time I was just 17. Though many things happen to me, before I came to Christ, this was the song that made me realize that He loved me..even if no one else did. He was there for me & He was my friend..How could someone like Jesus Love..me!!
