The biggest problem in the church are the bishops - whose power is out of any control and they reign until their death together with the gang they create in the form of the priest whom they nominate to high function in the dioceses - change of this will bring enormous improvement in the way how function the whole institution. The worse is in this that - that institution itself is not able and willing to do it how bishops can cut their power themselves. So the only force which can press system to this point is people - believers and they have 2 instruments to force this structure to that - their money and their presence - not giving money and stop going to the institution which is in contradiction to the teaching of Jesus until they will show will to collaborate with people and acknowledge their voce.
It is need to change system of appointing bishops - at this moment bishop is brought in the briefcase from Vatican .
I think that all the priests from particular diocese knew each other good enough and also have Holy Spirit that they can appoint in secret voting we say 4 candidates those should be send to nuncio and Vatican afterward during the deeper scanning Vatican should pick one.
Moreover bishops should be nominated for period of time we say 10 years after which period their administration of power should be assessed and either extended for next some period of time or they should return to position of ordinary priest not that we have monarch which stay till their death.
Above model is used in convents for superiors nomination which prevents situations of abuse of power which at this moment is very common in the dioceses
Needs to be changed key used who is chosen to be bishop at this moment key is education social status of the family from which bishop comes, and whose ass he was licking (shortly saying nepotism) - liking in Vatican as a student or in the country from which he comes I mean here are bishop of particular diocese - as a main instrument of this mechanism - from which candidate comes, high authorities from the conference of bishops of particular country if he has access or even nuncio. And start appointing people who practice Jesus’ teaching in life who are holy priests not astute calculative bastards, greedy for career and promotion and relentless in their career pursuit.

In light of recent heinous, tragic events, I rewatched the documentary the documentary "Deliver Us From Evil" which has Fr. Doyle in it. I do agree with what he is doing and/or trying to do, because the Catholic Church certainly needs to clean house (not the first time in history that it has, nor do I believe it will be the last). However, I do have to respectfully disagree on some of his postulations on the cause(s) of child molestation within the Catholic Church.
One, in Deliver Us From Evil, he alludes to how the Church is hierarchical almost as though that, in and of itself, is a problem and facilitates sexual abuses. I am not saying that that is never the case, nor that I fully disagree, but then when he begins to talk about Eucharistic theology he goes off the rails. The clergy do not wave the Host back and forth in front of our faces going "Neener neener neener, I can make Jesus and you can't, I am above you. I have never gotten that vibe the entire time I have been (FULL DISCLOSURE AHEAD) a Catholic Christian, which has been over 11 years now.
His second flaw in reasoning is that celibacy is, at the least, tempting clergy to seek out sexual release, even with and especially with prepubescent children. That is completely false. If you get frustrated sexually to the point where you break your vow of celibacy, you would do so either by A. having sex with an adult in the congregation (female or male) and try to keep it hush-hush, or he would crack and go to the bathroom and masturbate. The fact they are trying to connect clerical celibacy as being the cause to turn into men "becoming" pederasts/pedophiles is just ridiculous. I mean it is a truly silly thing to believe. All Catholics who are not married are called to be celibate as well. We use different terminology because "celibacy" is a word and term for clerics being required to abstain from sex, and chastity simply means sexual purity (e.g. you could actively say, as a Catholic, that you and your spouse live a chaste life dedicated to God and the Church. That does not mean they aren't having sexual relations, it means they are not using their sexuality in a way displeasing to God, but rather they are living out and expressing their love sexually with their spouse in the proper way we believe our sexuality is to be used.
Having said all this, I would also like to point out that, when speaking about the Catholic Church, most people think and say "Roman Catholic Church," yet many do not know that that is actually inaccurate. The most that would be referring to is the Latin Church, which is the Catholic Church of the west. Another reason is because the epicenter of the Church, the Vatican, is located in Rome. What people do not realize is that the Catholic Church is not merely one Church, but actually a Communion of 23 autonomous sister churches, with the Latin Church being the largest. Celibacy is not required for Eastern Catholic Priests, and many of them do have wives, similar to how the Eastern Orthodox are. It is not even a dogma or a doctrine, but simply a discipline of the Latin Church within the greater, worldwide Communion of autonomous particular churches. This is very significant because, while doctrine and dogma cannot ever change, disciplines can and do change from time to time.
I Do think it would be interesting to allow married priests here in the West as our Eastern brethren do. It would also be a good experiment to finally settle the matter of sexual repression due to clerical celibacy, in and of itself, produces pedophiles, or whether pedophiles simply choose to become Priests similarly to how they become teachers, principals, guidance counselors, daycare businesses, etc.

As an abuse victim I dispise Doyle. He has manipulated and smeared abuse victims. He only uses us as pawns for his agenda. Deliver us from evil also violated the privacy of the kids depicted in it. The parents had refused permission for them to appear, especially with their name tags visible.

@neocrusader736 why are you watching the video then? He has helped countless of victims and has given his life for them. You are smearing his good name .
