2024 National Book Festival Opening Celebration: Books Build Us Up

On Aug. 23, the eve of the 2024 National Book Festival, join Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden and festival co-chair David M. Rubenstein as they welcome six of the dozens of authors appearing at this year’s festival. This special event, live from the Library of Congress, features Sandra Cisneros, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Max Greenfield, Tamron Hall, Meg Medina and Gene Luen Yang.
