He has been a stand-up comedian for decades and has been in many movies including the starring role in a few. His net worth is around 8 million. While he is not the most famous actor he is at least definitely successful.

I am listening while commenting. Last night I woke up with a wrench in my gut. Couldn't sleep. Opened up CZcams and found something great. Made a comment, very political. Realized we still have freedom of speech, among other things. Rob, rocks! I am not afraid to use my freedom of speech and realize there are oodles of people who are not afraid to use it.

In the early 90's it was routine to joke around about SNL's skits from the previous Saturday night including the Richmeister skits. Such a pleasure and gift to see Rob in the movies. Always funny and my wife and I met him after a standup show at DC Improv 11 years ago. He's such a cool "real" guy and true class act. Forever a hugh fan.

I met Rob Schneider about a week before he was on letterman. We were students in TV production at a local college in San Mateo California.
A girl in our class ‘Lynn’ was friends with Rob and he came to a class and did some comedy for her project ‘think Elvis’.
I recall Lynn telling us that her friend would be famous after his debut on Letterman, and the rest was history.
I'll always love Rob's work. Great guy!
What a wonderful human being! I have been constantly disappointed by the views of so many of the people that I considered to be my comedic heroes when I was younger. It's so refreshing to not only respect the body of someone's work, but also be able to respect them as a person.
He's not a shill, a stand up man with his own convictions and takes care of his family..I respect him.
You can be anything you work hard to be, as a career, you are what you are when it comes to your parts- God decided that before you were born.

I met Rob at Dutch Johns in Scottsdale in the early 90s. He was playing pool on a Sunday night and as he was leaving I said "man I think youre funny as hell but for Gods sake I cant remember your.. " he interrupts me with a rrally cool grin and says "Rob, Rob Scneider" He was so cool. Really good guy.

I never imagined that Rob Schneider was so intelligent and well-informed. He was always very funny, and enjoyable to watch, but his roles, which don't typically portray him as intelligent, don't give any clues as to who he really is (and they don't need to). That is not based Soley on his political opinions, I've seen him comment on other things as well, and he is very well-spoken.
