My best friend and I have played harvest moon together since we were kids, and playing stardew on switch together and having a farm and enjoying collecting things for the community center together and meeting the neighbors, gosh it’s been wonderful. Blessings to concernedape

I don’t consider myself a big gamer but I love Stardew, the pretty graphics, the calming music, and the storyline that focuses on community and connection. I’m sure you’ve put a lot of work into this update, and I’m really grateful. I already started a new file yesterday so I could have the new cat, and I love discovering little new things that pop up in the game! Thanks for giving us so many more hours of joyful gaming!

In normal play the time pauses on opening of chest, in the inventory, while fishing, while playing the game in the bar, talking, etc.

Indeed, every 10 min in-game is 14 seconds real life. As you said time is the same is just that there is no pause in multiplayer.

Spoiled Milk His standards aren’t high though??? You act as if Fortnite is the only game with cross-platform play when another indie game, Rocket League, has cross-platform play. I don’t see the issue for asking for cross-platform play in Stardew as long as they have the money to do cross-platform play.
Spoiled Milk That’s not even mentioning the fact that it already supports cross-play with other services. You can play with players on Steam if you have a GOG account, so again, cross-platform play wouldn’t be asking too much.
Spoiled Milk We are in 2018 already, I think it's completely fair to ask for cross play. Plus, it would increase the sales, so it's probably profitable for the developer.

It probably won't take until Christmas. Concerned Ape makes the PC version, and then he hands the patch off to other programmers to make the ports for the consoles. (It's honestly impressive that one man created and programmed the game to begin with though.)

My wife and I have a farm on the Switch version and we take turns passing the pro controller. We were so hyped for multiplayer thinking that we'd be able to both play on our farm on our tv, unfortunately this is not possible and we think concerned ape really REAAAALLLY DROPPED THE BALL by not including this option. Many other people would love this feature also if you decide to path it in. Anyhoo it's a great game, but the multiplayer is a big let down for people wanting to play on one screen.
think about he is only ONE developer and as he already has the PC multiplayer made he simply copy pasted it to switch.

Yeah... same. I wish the content from multiplayer was added to single player instead of forcing you to play multiplayer. But the no local coop and no cross platform really put a damper on this for me. Glad I waited to buy it on switch

Most likely for XBOX One and Switch but PlayStation is out of the question.
For the next update you should let the player be the wizards apprentice because he does say he wants to get one for when he leaves to another world. Also it would just be cool to have magic the player can use other than the return scepter. Like if you agree with me...... or don’t I guess.
