Moral of the story: families that work well together can achieve huge things
@Weasel Can't Swim what
@Weasel Can't Swim ???
@Weasel Can't Swim weasel cant think either most Indian millionaires /billionaires have some corrupt dirty story behind em. Oh yh give kashmir back
@Weasel Can't Swim what are u talking about? The richest person is Jeff Bezos who is American and second is Elon Musk who is South African.
I wish mines did 😢
That guy is incredibly smart he took all of those AP classes in high school so he was a junior when he first enrolled at UC Berkeley.
Totally!
I like his approach. He learned the importance of managing money at a young age instead of wasting money later in life. The fact that his brother and him are growing together financially and sibllings shows that the family raised their children well.
He embodies the frugal lifestyle even at the academic level! Grinded hard on AP classes/exams to get college credit so it's basically college at a discount. I like this guy.
can't knock the hustle of someone putting in the work so early on. he's driven and focused on nothing but respect. smashing the like button on his life.
This kid is really killing it. Very impressive. Love to see it.
I’m a little confused about the enigma of a real estate millionaire entrepreneur working as an executive assistant, but still, he seems to have it all figured out very early on.
Thanks for this Video Graham! And for the Inspiration to be financially literate. This inspires us to create whiteboard animated Finance Channel :)
You got it!
@@TheGrahamStephanShow Thanks Graham!
@@investmentblueprint Glad I don't need to be in the market today, I don't understand it anymore there is just too much info and it's harder to find good sources. But I got some money to play with and I have considered taking another crack at it just to have some FU money I can share with family that will be starting school in a few years.
The comment section is always a very toxic place lol. I really like this guy’s story, he’s hustling and reaping the rewards of it. Great video Graham!
Or maybe people like you are too gullible and never raise questions. Someone in the comment section close to him actually dropped the real info. Take a look it’s there.
Can't the logic also apply to what you said like how do you know if that comment knows him? Seem pretty gullible too and never raise question for if it true or not.
@@alp.9672 and even if it is say part of it is family money, atleast he took a good care of it and made it more, instead of splurging it like some people do. i mean graham here was able to become rich even though his family is not really that rich by starting at 18, so it is not imposible, you just need the knowledge and dedication to do it.
And its not his fault his parent were responsible with their money, unless he earned it by illegal means then it is actually very good, and nothing wrong with it for anyone to be sceptical.
@@boholaesthetic3416 man there’s no way you have almost 10M without getting lucky. Is truly amazing what this guy achieved but be real, we don’t know nothing about his brother, I think him of the family is the key. You should know how competitive real state is
@@hispantrapmusic301 well i dont know much about the competitiveness of the real estate, especially in America, since i live here in the Philippines.
but atleast he is saving and investing his money and not splurging, which is better than most people i see online and know personally, even if it is a family money, still props to him, sorry if i made any mistake, that is all.
This guy seems incredibly focused - he's off to a roaring start
He really is!
Bring back the train wrecks. Its been a while since I saw graham get upset over one of these.
Its so much fun.
This guys is the Indian graham stephan.
This guy is motivated and determined! He is going to be a millionaire in his twenties no doubt about it. Good for him!
All those that disliked: "I didn't make half a million a year in my twenties, this must have been handed to him! Dislike"
Meanwhile this guy is going to continue to work hard and make more and more money.
I don't necessarily blame those who disliked the video. It's a bit misleading to exclude vital information pertaining to his wealth considering his wealth is the focus of the video. It's likely that the majority of millennials will not achieve his level of wealth if they're starting from scratch. There's an advantage to having wealthy parents compared to not having wealthy parents. Working hard may bring you his kind of wealth, but having wealthy parents gives you a comfortable headstart; thus, making it more likely to succeed.
@@otrebla8944 you are right but still there are some with poor parents who still make alot of money
All those dislikes are from his family relatives just jealous of him making half a million a year.
@@otrebla8944 You are acting like you know something that you do not.
What help do you know his parents gave him ? You don't know what scholarships he had, How he got his job.
Were you able to enter college as a junior? Did you have your real estate license at 18? Were you an entrepreneur in grade school? Do you need rich parents to do any of those things?
You sound exactly like what this comment is describing.
I am amazed of Graham's attention to details. Always.
One of my faves!!! Thanks for reacting to this, Graham. He’s very inspiring and motivating! :)
One of my fave episodes, dudes doing a great job
So happy to see Millenial Money reactions again!!!
Me too!
So inspiring graham … thanks dude. And to everyone watching, keep learning keep growing !
Thanks Graham! Have a great rest of your day. See you tonight on MM LIVE. 😊
The dislikes of this guy are mostly rooted in jealousy. It’s not his fault his family is successful and supportive.
I think it is important to recognize when someone really has achieved things not because of innate abilities.. but rather winning the lottery of whom your parents are and where you were born, and when you were born.
@@manp1039 but on the other hand his father was a doctor and his mother owned a business. It's not as if they sold drugs or something illegal. I'd say good for them. It's nice to see the American dream into action.
@@manp1039 he’s clearly intelligent, driven and deserving of what he has. Hardly a trust fund baby, just used what what was available to it
@@ciarangrimes7912 he wouldn't be a trust fund baby if his parents and the source of his funds are still alive.
@@manp1039 You are doing exactly what Graham was mocking and acting like you know something about his life that you just don't. He may have been being dishonest, but theres nothing inherently unbelievable about the story.
Sometimes young people can do incredible things you didn't without winning a lottery. You have no factual knowledge that he didn't achieve it with innate abilities.
I love this series keep making great videos graham!
Will do!
Another great episode! Keep up the great work!
Thank you for watching.
it is very surprising that he was able to buy that many properties in the last few years in Berkeley. I had several clients two years ago that were millionaires a few times over and they were having a difficult time getting their hands on a good property in Berkeley because homes were going for way over asking prices
Rich parents.
Happy for this guy. Great advice to research the tax code and always get a second opinion.
Yes been waiting on this!!
I wonder if the $515k is post-tax with all of those real estate write offs
Great review, thank you for your hard work
I actually enjoy watching Graham react to Millenial money videos more than just watching the actual video without his reaction 😂
I almost got in trouble for selling food in between classes. It’s like “sorry that I’m trying to teach myself something y’all should of taught me 🥴”?!
Lol it’s true, some kid at my HS got in trouble for ordering in pizzas and selling by the slice. It’s like stop thwarting entrepreneurship, school administrators
Yes I was waiting for this one. Graham please also react to the millennia money video "living on 24k in Seoul, South korea"
ok!
Great content. like button smashed
Just started the video and know Graham is gonna really like this guy.
Me: gets notified when CNBC posts this video.
Also me: waiting for Graham to react to it so we can watch together😁
It took a little while, but he finally got to it🤙
Was waiting for this!
6:14 thanks for clarifying section 179. I was confused at how he was able to write it off. Moral of the story- form a business or a corporation
Envy can be about anything, whether general, or personal. Small amount of envy or a lot. But people just gotta learn to accept, and learn from other people's success. We can't judge whether they deserve it or not. Because it's theirs
This guys was amazing! Great reaction. I agree that those who disliked the video or had something crazy to say were Jealous AF!
I literally just finished watching the original video and your notification popped up 😆
Hope you enjoyed it!
Graham really needs to post a video on things he would buy and things he would not. I’m the same way where I’m super careful with my money. I think the concept would make for a great video. Because you know how these videos are about living expensive. I’d like a video on living on a extreme budget.
You rock Graham!
Always gotta use these videos as motivation because I can’t let this video bring down my self esteem 😂
whatever Nadia. Nobody cares.
Looking forward to this one 😎
Enjoy!
Graham, Aside from me not getting to converse with you. It was a great live stream. I really liked it. You did great for being live. I hope that you do it again in the future. The next time I will tune in to your personal stream and skip The Bankroll Coffee live stream. 😊
4:03 I took a different approach, I bought out the entire stock of an item that the schools shop was selling during an event and then sold it to the other kids for like a 500% return. Never got caught.
How did I miss this until now
That’s awesome!!
Sothebys can be a family business… if you’re in the right family
wow never knew I'd make it into a Graham stephan video
Good spot on the Ferragamo's, Graham. No comment on the golf clubs though?😝 Pretty sweet hobby
Finally here early!!
welcome!!
You should invite him to your podcast! It would be interesting to hear the advice from the two of you!😆
Graham subtly advertising his coffee. Smart
Love your videos Graham...have been wanting to use a lot of what you say about finances...when it comes to Public...it's pretty limited as being in South Africa doesn't allow me to buy/sell...any suggestions?
New favorite Graham video: Graham Stephan destroying the ridiculous hater comments on Millennial Money.
4:13 good job Jack
My Equinox membership back in 2010 was $175 a month... There's no way he's got it that cheap 🤣😂 Maybe he's on a grandfathered in family-plan from when they first opened?!?? 😂🤣
Confuuuskated lol. You crack me up.
😂
Am I the only one who can’t watch these videos anymore unless Graham reacts to them? It was in my recommended videos when it came out, but I waited till Graham put out this one to watch it.
Is that a new transparent bank roll coffee cup, at first I thought is was a Starbucks cup lol
Yes!! It is time for the comments section. Some of those comments are really great. 😁
Graham making me feel bad about my life decisions for 13 minutes straight (sigh) lol
We’re all gonna make it big guys, trust me💪😌
Selling candy at school
Sweet side hustle bruh 🍬
literally sweet. 😁
Commented for CZcams algorithm
Confenscated is the way to go Graham!
I see he's not going to react to the South Korea episode... I'll have to do a video on Graham as retaliation lol
Which South Korea one?
you mentioned learning more about the tac codes. where or what would you recommend to do so in your free/personal time?
I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE GRAHAMTASTIC day
YOU TOO
I watched that but I never really got a feel for his actual spending or even what he does at work. I just know he got a amazing job out the gate
His favorite closing "Destroy the like button for the CZcams algorithms"
Me:- 👍
What's the best way to learn the tax code? It's always changing isn't it?
You should invite him to your podcast!
Graham is rocking the Flock Of Seagulls hairstyle
someone go tell the selling sunset cast to take the day off as someone in the youtube comments said that houses sell themselves! ;)
Graham i’m huge fan of ya because I’m future businessman whose interested in your content
I was "that kid" to. I sold candy back in school. I had a whole trash bag full of candy. I would sell completely out before lunch time. I never had an issue with any of the teachers either. In fact one of the teachers actually purchased from me. lol! I even expanded and got in to selling donuts. Those were fire!! 😊
That’s awesome!!
@@TheGrahamStephanShow Thanks! Yeah, I did pretty well. Needless to say. I was the go to popular kid at school. 😊
Nice!! 👍👍
@@monk9008 Thanks Monk. 😊😎👍
You need to do that voice edit often 😂
What are the chances I get you to react to my tour of ‘The One’ … (it’s very different than producer Michael’s)
Most probably don’t know but this kids brother is a referee in the NBA G-League who’s worked NBA games as a non-staff official and will probably be a full time NBA referee very soon. Impressive family.
There's this gurumanns house tour, on a Californian hill expanded to an acre, react to that!!!🔥
ok!
Interesting that you brought up the landlord thing as I was just about to comment about my strong dislike when people purchase homes for renting them out. If people want to invest in commercial real estate, apartments, condominiums, have at it. But when investors start snatching up single family homes, I have a problem with that.
Why can’t I find a list of the cars that weigh more than 6,000 lbs?! I need this!
4:40 Couldn't he use a minimalist wallet, as he in Graham's words be a Financial minimalist!!😂
What’s up guys it’s wait for it here
*You know you made it when you can afford an Equinox membership...*
💪😂
C’mon Graham!! Grace us with that 5196P!!
I see people here talking about the Executive Assistant position. So the EA position isn't exactly the same as an assistant. An EA makes executive level decisions with the ceo or c level executive he is the assistant to. They keep ea for not the menial stuff but the big picture stuff. If you ask me this salary for an ea position in the bay area doesn't surprise me
He is killin the game, good for him!
Mean while, regular people with regular job in the Philippines only got $2000-$4000 per year
I used to sell candy and chips back in high school too and they’d get mad because they said i was taking away “business from the school” cuz cafeteria would sell chips for $2 and i was $1 i would sell rice crispy treats for 2/$1 and they would sell em $1 each so i was the better deal therefore they kept taking my backpack telling me not to sell but that didnt stop my hustle 😤😤😤 business is business
Those captures showing the likes ratio were taken really late, right? the number Graham says doesn't match the numbers I'm seeing lol
The comments on the original video honestly makes me so sad...and I totally understand why they think that way, because we are always being told that if someone is rich then it must be because someone handed it out to them.....why are we villainizing the people who go after their dreams....what happened to looking up to them and wanting to be like them one day?
amen!!
Right, every one of these videos people make up excuses why the person is successful instead of trying to learn from them
I honestly think people get intimidated and don’t know how they can get to that point/think it’s impossible
It’s funny people like you dismiss many factors, he is 25 and works as an “executive assistant”
You’re the type of people who really believe the term self made billionaire also.
@@alp.9672 EAs can easily make 100k or more as base salary, so if he is getting rental income on top of it in Northern California this number isn’t unrealistic
The buyers aren't the root cause of insane housing prices in the bay area. It's the insane zoning laws that artificially restrict supply that is the problem. Open the floodgates for developers to build hundreds of thousands of more units and watch prices plummet
Finally Millennial Money!
Hi Graham
Invite him to the ice coffee show
Dudes a beast but I think a lot of the dislikes were from his family having money and setting him up right, but he put in his own work and deserves every penny
Damn Graham you just skipped right over the heart attack piece with his dad 😳
Every guy and their dad in the Bay Area has that darn little puffer vest 🙄
His brother is the first Indian Origin NBA referee so it’s pretty commendable in itself considering both of them chose paths less taken.
I knew a guy in high school who’d sell pictures he printed off the internet for 75-cents a piece.
I remember thinking it was such genius and wishing I’d thought of it first.
You know… special pictures that high schoolers aren’t technically exposed to. And not everyone had internet/phones back then either.
