    I have been driving every generation of MDX since it first came out. One of the reasons was safety. I crash my first 2001 MDX in 2002. The car rollover 2 times completely smash up and I walk out of that wreckage with a 1-inch scratch on my forehead. 😁

      @@Pens4Life85 I've had mine for about a month now. I love it. Wish I was still getting the mpg of my TLX, but this things much bigger, obviously. I got paint protection on the whole friend end and tinted the front two windows. Great daily driver.

    • @alucarus6
      @alucarus6 Před rokem +2

      @@Pens4Life85 I paid MSRP, but I'm doing lease to own so my monthly payment is pretty low. I got 10k over what I owed for my tlx. It's a pretty good deal for me. Honestly, there's really nothing more I would ever need. I just got the base with AWD, because all the stuff I care about comes standard. I really can't think of anything else I'd want except maybe a little better gas mileage. I'm averaging 19-20 split 50/50 mix. I absolutely love this car though. My wife has the previous gen and this one is light-years beyond. The 10 speed auto is way better. My only annoying criticism is the use of piano black and carpet on the sills instead of plastic. My kids always step on the carpet which drives me nuts. Overall, love it though. Base model is a great deal. You're really just paying for fluff on the other trims in my opinion.

    • @alucarus6
      @alucarus6 Před rokem +2

      @@Pens4Life85 I would have loved the type s, but literally doubling my payment for not much more performance imo. I drove the type s and rode it hard and honestly couldn't tell a huge difference from the 3.5. It obviously has more power, but not 20 grand worth. The base 3.5 hauls ass pretty good for what it is.

    I had a 2011 Acura MDX, very comfortable seats, peppy, unfortunately it did not hold up as my previous Honda CRV. I replaced the two side mirrors actuators, power steering rack, 2 water pumps, right front wheel bearing, hood stays. In the 8 years of ownership I spent $10,744 in maintenance with 103K miles. Traded it in for a 2020 Toyota Highlander. So far with 28K miles no out of pocket expenses, nothing has gone wrong with the Toyota. Time will tell if it holds up as I keep my cars about 8 years or 100k. Would I go back to a Acura, not likely.

    Mine has been perfectly reliable over 27,000 miles. The removable middle seat is also great and the ELS sound system is excellent. It also handles like a much smaller car. The OEM tires are too noisy in my opinion and they do overdo it with the piano black but it has handled family duty really well and is more practical than the competition. Love that they use a regular V6 for reliability. May not have great low-end torque but it is very smooth and sounds really nice. Gas mileage isn't great. I average about 19 but rarely go on the highway. On the highway I usually beat the 25mpg estimate.

    Thai SUV is very nice. I love the exterior! But yes I totally agree with u guys with the air ball. For 61k i’d expect heated seats and a 360 camera to be standard. I mean the 23 palisade calligraphy embarrasses majority of the luxury competition. I think for the 23 Acura did have the opportunity to add those features. That would complete eveything because this is my at rite trim level in the lineup. Hopefully by 2024 or 2025 they would add them.

    • @namsdang1827

      Remote start is only in Advance package.
      I just have a remote starter Compustar installed by Best buy for $199 in my 2022 MDX Tech. It has the range 3000 feet. I can start the car with its fob or the car key fob (but the range is limited). With subscription droneMobile, I can start, track, secure the car anywhere and more.
