    I lived in Holland all my life and i saw a lot of Europe but when i saw Cusco, Urubamba, MachuPichu, all the pueblos and The Inca Triologogy....i cried....now all my questions r answered and my life changed. Peru is the most beautiful land i saw in my Life. The air is clean. I am so spiritual and mystic and i felt a lot of Goooood energy. I am in love w the Inca history , the people, The Andes, the pisco Sour ,the Ceviche and the blessing of my Shaman

    The market looks like a great way to experience the Sacred Valley culture. The evaporation ponds are really unique looking. it's incredible how long they have been in use. I love seeing technology that has been around for a long time.

    The sacred valley really is an amazing place to visit but it looks like there are a lot of hills and steep climbs.How was it to be there with young kids? I really love that you guys travel the whole family together.Your kids are really going to have some great memories when they grow up.

    • @WanderingWagars
      @WanderingWagars  Před 7 lety

      The climbs weren't too bad at all. And things got better the more acclimated we were to the altitude. Even the ruins of Machu Picchu, which was full of ups and downs, was not terribly difficult for those in fairly good condition.

    Oh my goodness, you're really making us miss Peru so much. Those crop circles are so fascinating to us. Have you watched the Peru episode of "Chef's Table"? It talks a lot about Peru's vegetations, altitudes, mentioning those crop circles. So interesting. I LOVE that farmer's market. I saw some granadillas! One of my favorite fruits from Peru :)

    Machu Picchu and the Sacred Valley looks incredible! The farmer's market is definitely something I'd like to try. Is it relatively safe to eat food there as a tourist?

    • @WanderingWagars
      @WanderingWagars  Před 7 lety

      Peru has some of the best food in the world (it's home to 3 of the top 10 restaurants in the world). The water isn't safe to drink, but the locals don't drink it either, so you can be confident that food is made with filtered water. Just avoid unpeeled fruits and vegetables and salads just in case.

    The sacred valley is simply stunning. Absolutely breathtaking. Those views are incredible. It's definately on my to go to list. How was altitude? I heard that you can get altitude sickness.

    • @WanderingWagars
      @WanderingWagars  Před 7 lety

      We had no problems with the altitude. Our first day we felt a little winded, but exploring the Sacred Valley before going to the much higher Cusco helped a lot. I have heard that people who go straight to Cusco from Lima can be in for a bit of a shock.
