Tried this today and managed to get the race bonus! I’m an average driver but thoroughly addicted to this game. This build is 100% worth it and the strategy is solid. Thank you, lots of fun driving this beast!
As for the tire wars…if you can drive on racing tires to start more power to you, but the spin is strong with this one. The video strategy works great even though I can’t get out of the first pit stop in 1st place like you-I still wind up finishing 1:30 ahead of second place. Solid build and amazing video!
I did this again today a few time and I tryed it with Sport Medium at start. Went 6 laps. Pit and changed to new sports medium and enough fuel for the last 6 laps. Did not feel that it went much slower with those tyres over the racing ones but only needed 1 pit stop. And took lead before first corner. Try it and see what you think 😀

Brooo thank you so much! I’ve tried multiple different cars, different builds, different controllers, and nothing worked. This build actually seems pretty good, I mostly skip out on this race because it’s so frustrating and I rather run WTC 700 at 24HR’s de France; but now I’m hyped to try this out.
Just take it easy on those first couple of laps and you’ll be good! 👍🏻
Used this build for Watkins Glen...worked like a charm!! Had to put Sport Softs on and did have nitro...I set to 25 and only used to get up front and on some straight aways. Never saw the Ford Hot Rod and it was nice to be in the thick of things from the get go!! Thanks!!

dont know if its the new build but car just wants to bring the tail round under braking now even with full braking to the rear

I have the exact same settings you have minus the weight reduction, the weight reduction adds PP so I leave that out for more HP yet my car has a higher PP of 565.4, odd.

the silvia s13 88 with the engine swap has the potential to challenge this , its a 1000hp 1000kg beast thats below 600pp, if you can tame it theres huge potential

Nice one .I just use the Aston Martin DP100 vgt on a no stop strategy [sports hard] super simple dont touch anything ....but this looks like a fun alternative and very fast

On the last stop, can you swap out hard tires instead of mediums ? Seems like they would last a little longer
You could do yes, but they only burn out midway through lap 12, so it’d be whether you’d cover the 2-3 seconds lost on the last lap vs the whole stint on Racing Hards

As I said this build is great for the Tokyo 600 but I wouldn’t mind using it as an every day car. The breaking isn’t great so I’m trying to figure out how to improve that and the understeer at higher speeds could be improved. I took it out on Le Mans with soft racing tires, and it runs wide a bit more than I would like. What would you do to improve upon this without PP restrictions?
To be fair it’s maxed out PP wise, but you could reduce the front roll bar by 3 levels, and reduce rear downforce by up to 100. See if that helps 👍🏻

Took the little Honda Beat to the WTC700 Le Mans today.
1st place by 1min 35.
I have to figure out the braking points though. The long straights to chicane I kept braking too early.
The tight corner at the bottom of the track, I over ran it and hit the wall 5 out of 7 laps 😂
That tight corner always ends up catching me out 🤣

@@Tanky-II Engine swap to a Civic engine then add all the good stuff, turbo, adjustable transmission, suspension, brakes, tires. I more or less modeled the settings the same as SkullBusters did to the Cappucinno.
Nice accent! I also noticed that in my game what is called muffler, in your game is silencer. Is that a brit thing, like truck vs lorry?

No idea mate 😂 try it because you’ll just be able to take them straight back off if it messes with the PP
Is this some sorta joke? First lap okay don't bother trying the second lap because the tires will be shot and you can't control it at all don't bother with the soft tires at the second cause they are only good for one lap and forget about steering this thing. It's a fun little car and it did okay but really had to be a perfect run one mistake and it's over.

Um...problem...I'm not level 50 collectors level. What would be a good alternative for those not in collectors level 50 as they can't do an engine swap until level 50?

@@ssj10tails if you arent level 50 yet and have access to one, any of the Gr.B rally cars detuned to 600pp with inters > sports tyres works quite well as they have large fuel tanks, so even if you cant beat p1 on pace youll beat him by not having to pit altho he'll be chasing you on the last lap
not understand why using different types of tyres? especially why even use IM? if there two pitstops why not use RS all the time? what is advantage? IM - RS - RM?
IM will grip in the prior wet conditions but will burn out fast because the tunnel is dry.
RS is the fastest tyre but will only last 4 laps.
RM will last the remainder of the race 👍🏻

No TCS and I had brake balance set to 0. If you’re struggling with traction on the first half of the race, I’d definitely consider putting it up to 1 or 2.
You don’t really need to mess with brake balance, you don’t get much understeer from braking.

I did the update this morning and maybe I'm having an 'off day' or has something changed? I've had 12 attempts at the Tokyo Expressway with the newly tuned Cappuccino. Gallo is on my case all the way to 1st pitstop and then overtakes me on the way in. Softs on I come out in 8th and get rammed time after time. I gave up. (I won 2 days ago on the 1st try)...any ideas? Cheers freddie
The Cuppocinno is sold out. I wonder if I could do similar with a Honda Beat. There is a Civic engine available to swap.
EDIT: I did it with the Honda Beat. I pitted one more time than needed trying to get my tire strategy and did not get clean race bonus. Need to work on controlling the car better.
I did, however, finish 1st at 25 seconds ahead of #2.

Faster then the escudo. I cant match you 157 lap time but.
If there's anything the Cappuccino lacks in comparison it's the grip and stability plus it easily loses control upon touching water puddles
@thesilvershadow1760 yes I was only managing a second faster in the cappuccino, it's hard to hold on the road but if you can it's fast. And I agree the escudo handles much better.
My guess is skull buster has been playing sim racing for some time? If so he is an expireanced driver and would adapt to driving most cars with multiple car settings. I couldn't drive it the way he had it set and had to make some minor adjustments, my driving ability is fare below his, the last sim race game I played before GT7 was GT1.

The point of this video is to win this race series in these conditions, meaning a wet track and 600 PP. Yes there are sacrifices as the car does not brake well coming off the high speeds especially on a wet track but the gains that you get from its speed outweigh anything else. I pretty much followed his guide and won by two minutes. This was the first time I’ve tried it and I didn’t get the clean race bonus I think because on the first lap at the end of the first, I hit the wall pretty hard. I didn’t hit any cars at all so that surprise me a little bit. I’ll have to try it again.
This is a very smart build for this race.
Can’t wait to use it with my hot pink Barbie livery against some of my mates on dry tracks with soft racing tires lol
