YBNL Alternative/Indigenous star Adekunle Gold - one of the hottest artists in Nigeria today - chopped it up with the Notjustok TV Crew while on a short break from his US Tour to catch up on the "Gold" album, his US Tour 2016, The recently concluded YBNL UK Tour, and more.
In this exclusive interview, Adekunle Gold takes us through the creative process that birthed his debut album "Gold" which dropped a few months ago. The producers he worked with, how his twitter followers helped him decide his album title which was recommended by a friend, what inspired some of his songs, including a pilot's announcement while on a flight, and loads more.
'Dekunle also tells us why he only featured Simi (his rumoured girlfriend) on the album, with labelmates Olamide and Lil Kesh conspicuously missing.
