Sad but again people. These companies never fought back. Sears didn’t fight back to the uprising of online commerce. Retail doesn’t pay their employees. Major retail never adapted to the new internet age

The surprise is that the other three haven’t close down yet or made a formal announcement, it’s a shame that the guy from Sears thought he was going I to make a bigger company by merging the two when his ego basically destroyed both businesses. There are these two guys who are buying the rights to all the old businesses and selling their products online which was probably the greatest idea in the first place
Kmart had the best a/c in town BITD fresh roasted nuts and “airpopt” popcorn filled the air. Plastic dome so you could watch the kernal pop before your eyes! BLS= 3 ham sub sandwiches for $3.00. No lie and who let all the parakeets out of their cages in the pet department to fly free about the store?

Now only 1 Kmart left in Westwood, NJ. Hopefully this Avenel Kmart will become a Target store
