This game is almost officially 16 years old and still holds up very very well. To be honest this is a masterpiece of the modern fps genre and it was truly far ahead of his time...

I remember the CoD4 / Halo 3 days every Saturday on the old white Xbox 360’s maaaan those were the days. Mixed in with Gears of War and Guitar Hero 3. I absolutely loved that time.. We were all 16 just living a chilled life, oven pizzas and Pepsi’s, and girlfriends were for the Sundays 😂
They were fun, simpler times
It's still crazy that we all experienced the same childhoods. I was 11 during the CoD4/Halo 3/GH3 days and my god, it was such a good time

Hi Mike, first of all i would like to say that i always enjoy your videos where you're either playing or shoutcasting promod!
However, as one of the two guys that run [UP], i felt the need to set some things straight because it might leave the wrong impression of what we, as the United Promod community, stand for and what we're trying to maintain on our servers.
We aim to provide the small scene that is left in CoD4 promod with the most accurate, original and stock promod experience. In short, that translates to using no custom skins, using the stock (promod) weapon damage, no custom playermodels or any other unnecessary bells and whistles. We started this community because there was a serious lack of servers providing the forementioned original promod experience and we wanted to give back to the promod scene. We dedicate a lot of our free time and money to leave the players on our servers with the best possible experience where they don't have to worry about cheaters or any other kind of abuse and where we hold fair play in very high regard.
As you might have noticed, there are a few simple rules that every player needs to play by. One of the rules forbids to use custom skins because it can be abused in many ways to gain an advantage over the other players who are using the stock textures. I would like to ask you to refrain from using any and all of your modifications when you're playing on our servers.
To the people watching this video, i would like to make it clear that the visual experience displayed in this video does not represent the default gameplay on our servers and mods.

Me and my friends used to run private match gb's on mwr 2v2 or 3v3 so much fun back in those days wish I could go back. We used to do that for hours these days I can barely play 3 games of MW2 search without hopping off lmao
man I wish I did more of that in MWR honestly. part of the reason I really wish I played it on console so I could’ve played so much more search, it was my fav game mode on 360. also don’t blame ya on that man, I haven’t tried snd on MWII yet but I can imagine how it’ll go 😅

I was playing Xbox 360 version of this game for a few years. Promod frag montages taught me a lot of climbs and bounces you could do on console as well. Some tricks I never knew you could do to get in to certain buildings that most people would assume the front door was the only way but people on the pro mods found unique climbs to counter them, which worked on console as well! I’m happy to see that the game has a slim playerbase and ain’t completely dead!

I've been playing Call of Duty since 1 (2003). So far I play the last one that came out in 2023 and of all the CODs that I have played, for me the best is COD4 PROMOD.

timing was sus but in a public promod where its packed 10vs10 or more pretty much guaranteed 1 person would be in there, not something you'd do in a normal compet 5v5 tho.
you can't even get codehook for cod4 anymore so its unlikely he was wallhacking
I play toggle and I say I m pretty good with it Like I m not the best but I may be intermediate with toggle aim its just about practice in my opinion

how many days you think you have played on cod4 ? around 300
Little less than that but definitely close. I had 150 days on Xbox, and currently have 1930 hours on steam, there was a point in time for a few years when CoD4 pc was on 1.8 and the steam hours weren't tracking. I'm willing to bet I've got 5/6000 hours on the game for sure

Yes! Should just be able to connect into the server once you get into the game, but you should update to CoD4x when you get it on steam. Follow the tutorial I made here and then you'll be good to go - czcams.com/video/97JHtmnPIGI/video.html

what is promod?
Promod is what the name is, the mod for pro's LOL it was a snd mod created for the pro/competitive CoD4 players and tournaments and such!
