In the interment camp, there were at least 1 Breen there. Good chance that some of the top level members of the Breen government may have been infiltrated/replaced by the Founders (like Martok), hence why they joined the Dominion.

[Later that day Damar send a private message to Weyoun - opening channel]
    Damar: "well helloooooo"

I love the moment when Damar catches himself in the mirror and is genuinely disgusted - a 'moment of clarity'. His response is to say, "enough! enough of this bullshit!", and finally he becomes a genuinely brave man instead of a fake brave macho man.

The biggest mistake the dominion made was they didn't respect the cardasians. The war would have went better had they respected their skills and utilized them. Because it all went down hill after weyoun started being the general.

When the Germans first invaded the Soviet Union in WWII they were initially greeted as liberators by the common folk especially in the Ukraine. If they had treated these people accordingly they might have changed the outcome of the war. I see a parallel here. The Dominion treated the Cardassians like cannon fodder, took them for granted and gave them no respect.

@@johntrevy1 The founders might've died, but the troops would've fought on as long as the Vorta were calling the shots (as they did for much of the war). The Jem'Hadar only surrendered, because they were ordered to by the founders after all.
However, if the Dominion had won the war, it's not unlikely Odo would've fallen captive to the Dominion - and with him being healed from the S31-virus, a forced linking with one of the founders (or even an examination by vorta-scientists) might've procured the cure for them.
All in all, that is an interesting thought: Whether they lose or win the war, the founders would've always survived.
