It's important to note the mental and emotional state the straw hats are in before a battle effect it. Luffy at this point is almost depressed and confused he lost two people he considered family. Think about how the emotional state of athletes effect their performance in games.

@@YaBoyRockLee I'm surprised no one told you that before, I'm guessing, since you are way ahead on patreon, you already watched opening 6 which is the next after the one you watched today. That one show a lot of stuff that you shouldn't watch. You can watch an opening after you get to the next one, that's the safe way, or ask your patreons when you are safe to watch it. Even if you did a reaction of the opening (which a lot of reactors do before starting the show) you won't remember that much since you had no context.
