MFC is doing a great job with its feather products. New dying and/or printing techniques, etc. Makes me want to work with feathers.

When I saw that mottled schlappen in my local fly shop recently, I bought every color they had! So much for just needing another spool of thread...
This is a great looking bugger. I Like the doubled eyes and this Mottled Schlappen from MFC looks awsome i'm definitely going to start using this product. I cant wait to try many of the diffrent colors on my fav patterns.

Such a diverse feather with a new twist.
I am going to order some of this now. Where I fish in central Ohio, most fish see the same old flies. These mottled schlappen feathers will give the fish a different look and get more takes. Thanks for the product review man! Kudos!

MFC is doing a lot of great things, I think this one is a home run for sure! I agree, palmering this stuff is going to make a great new look. Once again, you make it look easy & fun. Was down in your neck of woods this weekend… fished the White. 22” Brown, 21” Tiger, 18” Scottish, some other Browns & Bows. Great weekend !!
I was worried about the stiffness of the feathers, but they look great.

Intriguing, though I'm kind of set in my ways using grizzled feathers for contrast... though I can see potential for the white mottled black when I need to tie something to mimic crappie when I'm fishing for muskie.

A #2 Hook!? That's huge! The biggest Wooly Bugger I have ever seen was maybe a size 6!
