PHP in Visual Studio Code: Your first PHP project

We will begin with creating the first PHP project in Visual Studio Code.
You first need to create a folder inside the htdocs folder of XAMPP installation, then you create your index.php file.
To demonstrate the php code, we will call the phpinfo() function, then we'll print a simle "Hello there" string and load the .php pages in the web browser using Apache server of the XAMPP package.

Hey I get error : PHP executable not found. Install PHP 7 and add it to your PATH or set the php.executablePath setting

Right-click on your "this Pc"> then click properties > Advance system settings > environment variables > double click on path > New (and paste the path of you php.exe, which you can find in your php folder inside your xampp or wamp folder in c drive. Eg. "C:/xampp/php/php.exe" ) I think the issue will be solved

I don't believe you'd have to. Github should be completely different environment and should have its own set of implementation rules. Unfortunately I don't have any tutorial on that.

I think Chrome and Firefox consider any HTTP connection to be not secure, as they require HTTPS (SSL). But, since you are testing on localhost and you know there is nothing to be afraid of, you can just ignore that warning!

@@TechVideoStack Yes it's running. I even got a shortcut on my desktop to get to it real easy. I think it has something to do with root folder and getting vscode to target it. I like to see exactly how the jsquery is suppose to look like in vscode. When ever I run code it gives me a split screen with the results at the bottom with no errors but no way to see it in browser. uhg. I'm puttling my hair out. Thanks btw for responding
