I primarily use parfait chunky for my amigarumi. It is much easier and less expensive to use than Bernat Blanket. You could also make snakes. No sewing for snakes!! And they would look great in the type of colors you are wanting to use. Love your concept. The amigarumi sell well for me. I mostly sell them to fund my crochet habit. I generally make $400 to $800 per one-day bazaar. In my area, I have the most profitable markets at local schools. However, I have only done the Christmas season bazaars. I have not tried any summer or spring markets. Best of luck to you!

I like the little shroomies! An idea you might consider if you don't mind working with cotton are bandanas and bucket hats. You say you watch Passionknit Kelsey...she sells bunches of those. I make them for something quick and easy and cool to do this time of year. They don't require much yarn or time. Dishcloths/Washcloths also made up in sets are sellers and work up quickly in kitchen cottons. Made a new pattern yesterday. Ear warmers/headbands also quick and easy but might be too warm for SC. Don't know! Just throwing out some ideas so you don't pigeon hole yourself into one area. Take it or leave it Greg. Just trying to be helpful. You certainly have good ami ideas! Have a great weekend!
Oh, and don’t underestimate the power of the safety eyes and a little grin. People eat that sh!t up, lol. Also, keeping in line with your aesthetic, how about smiley faces? Just a round, yellow circle with embroidered smiley face features. Also, making smaller versions of things and putting a keychain fob on them. Just some ideas.

Russ had contacted you and invited you to come up on panel with them. Everyone waited and hoped you would show up including me. We understood you might not be able to make it. Greg, you could make a granny square lovey crocheting around a elastic hair tie. You could use DK or worsted and buy some stuffed animals to insert in center. Could sell with or without the stuffed toy.
You need to incorporate flowers 🌸 🌼 and maybe add a key•chain holder to it. Remember, the crowd is usually more female than male, and kids love it to hang them on their backpack too.

I just looked at what it cost me in materials and went from there on my pricing. I had a lot of people tell me that my prices were to low. My comment to them was I prefer quality and not over pricing. Your customer base will really grow like that. If we look at the hours we put into our craft, we wouldn't have anyone to buy them because it would be to expensive.

I do craft sales also, and like you.....i go for seamless, and the no assembly required as i really hate assembling things. I do well in shows, I also sell in a store year round, i've been there for 8 yrs. I'm also working on all my fall / winter inventory.
If you can get your hands on Big Twist POSH (they make Big Twist Plush too but not as good) it is amazing for making plushies! Not as thick as Bernat Blanket and it's very smooth. I think Joanns sold through it pretty quick in my area (IN) but I found a few colors online still. It comes in really bright, pretty colors too.
Have you considered making crochet washcloths? They sell them here in my area for 3/ $10.00 a set. I can make one pretty quickly and you are much faster than I am. Have a good weekend.❤
