    What speed do you like to troll these bars? I'm sure it varies depending on sea conditions, but is there a "sweat spot" speed you like to try and hit?

      Yes, trolling speed definitely varies. We found 5-6 knots to be a great starting point.

    what lb braid do you use on your reel and what knot do you use to connect the squid bar to your line? Assuming there's a heavy duty swivel in there as well

      We are using 65lb braid. The knot used to connect to the barrel swivel is an improved clinch knot.
