I’m a Patriots fan but to start w/ Tom Brady is getting old and is losing it slowly we need a new QB very soon, secondly this year is one of the worse years in officiating even the Patriots get the most absurd calls in their favor, and PI is going uncalled a lot especially for teams w/ very good receivers cause they are hard to guard. But I can’t take this season any serious at all due to officiating it’s bad and I guarantee we are going to get at least two controversial games in the playoffs whether it be a play or game that can shift a game or playoff outcome

Lord Sephiroth Not always the resolution, high octane offense doesn’t win you Super Bowls or get you far in playoffs there has to be a balance we see this easily with teams like Kansas, Saints, from previous years they just barrage the board with points but when it comes to playoffs it doesn’t work because film is even taken more seriously that’s why teams like the Ravens don’t get me wrong are probably the best team in the NFL right now and it’s strictly because of their offense and it’s their run game and you know what happens to teams in the playoffs who are run heavy the lose like a score of 30-13 or 30-21 but all the teams who have beaten the Patriots in the super bowl or playoffs won because NE was a high octane offense and high octane offense gets very tired at a certain point and becomes very very predictable and the defense is an issue because the offense is the focal point of the team blasting teams with points, but to also say you’re partially correct that he doesn’t really have a cast and o line but give credit like I said defense as in pass rushing is very good from a lot of teams this season which is why the dual threat QBs are making a lot of noise but Brady isn’t going to get you a first down run when the pass isn’t there that’s all I’m trying to say as a Patriots fans and that’s why we can’t get numbers on the board that much

Sorry but Skip has a valid point. Those tripping calls were so bogus. If you say different, you just don't like the Cowboys. Skip was wrong about the long throw by Dak to Amari Cooper at the end of the game though. That was overthrown badly and made Amari have to fully extend his body to even have a smidgen of a chance to catch that ball. And it was in the driving rain and windy conditions.That is a lot to ask of your receiver to make that type of catch in those conditions. WRs from both teams has issues catching the ball in fact.

One thing I will agree on. NFL refs are atrocious.
I used to think NHL refs were bad until I started following football more. NFL refs are probably among the worst (if not the worst) in major professional sports.
Actually, the decline started with instant replay. The refs have no incentive to get it right if you can come behind them and correct it with replay. At least before it was just rare calls here and there.
Now, it's every week and the NFL needs to figure out how to give them the incentive to get calls right. Fans wanted an instant replay, fire the refs and just do it all by the camera. Sure would make it easier for players to navigate the field if they no longer have to wiggle around the ref.
Refs are horrible. But somehow always in favor of the Patriots. Something is not right.

He's a 4th round pick that's way outplayed his expectations and has transcended this season into a top QB in the league.The coaching staff of the Cowboys is the weakest link here, and everybody knows it. Bottom line is that if you're a fan of a different team, there's a very high percentage chance you'd trade a lot to get him as your QB. He's a young, big, strong, intelligent, athletic NFL starting QB whose arm is only improving with time, and whose leadership ability and intangibles are at a very high level. But he's being handicapped by a head coach who is a long-running joke in this league.

With the current defense (they averaged 28th in the league during Romo's era), this line (Romo had the most porous, penalty prone and blooper prone line) and Elliott drawing so much attention, they really would be America's Team again. Garrett mismanages this game and they call for him to be fired now. This was actually one of his better games in his career. He has always had the tendency to go for less than they need and totally disregard the strengths and weaknesses of the opposing team in his game planning.

Then misses the second one! Who does that??? His explanation was that he thought he saw something with the alignment!!! 😂😂

George Bray NO... the rule for tripping is that it’s a penalty for intentionally tripping someone. It obviously wasn’t on purpose or even a trip.

john johnson all the pats did was punt the ball too. I mean it was a defensive game. The weather was horrible and that’s going to affect both offenses. But Dak should’ve put the glove on at the start of the game. He isn’t used to that weather at all obviously but gotta learn the hard way I guess. Our head couch needs to be fired and some changes need to be made there.
