Focus on the love and joy you share with your family. Wallow in that time together. Spend the rest of your tme doing what you love and enjoy. Slow down and focus on happiness and rest and healing. Praying for you and your family. God's got you!

For those in the comments curious about colour temperature
🔵Blues with warm undertones could be French ultramarine/ indigo (which you can mix with ultramarine and red hence it’s a warm blue)
🔵 mid tone blue could be cobalt blue and
🔵 my favourite cool blue pthalo blue (green shade)
The warm blues sit closer to violets on the colour wheel and the cool blues sit closer to your blue greens on the colour wheel ⭕️

I will always find interesting how blues that lean towards violets are seen as warm but red that leen towards violet is seen as cool. No wonder there's such controversy with which blues are warm vs cool.

I love the comparison of music theory to color theory. Since I started painting a few years ago, I find myself listening to music differently. I hear/ see it as a composition, not just "a song". Really, the same with architecture, interior design, etc. Thanks for this helpful tutorial!

You are so incredible at explaining!! I play the piano too and your comparison to learning music theory really clicked for me. And thank you for explaining this from the very, very beginning and not assuming we know anything. You have filled in a lot of knowledge gaps for me.

My art teacher in our community recommended watching your video and I'm finding your approach to learning color theory and painting very enlightening. Thank you so much. I would like to receive the e-book on color theory. I'm subscribing and hopefully you'll see my email. Thank you I'm learning so much. I've been painting less than 1 year

I always love all the information you share and it is much appreciated. I understood basic color theory but I still learned a few things. Separating the warm and cool color water...I had not thought about that, so will be doing that going forward. Thank you Jenna ❤️

I prefer the second too because I feel we have cameras for realism why try to compete with it. I have done the same type of exercise with animals and I find the looser they are the better. I do not think it is more advanced or better. Just like your flower in 5 strokes. It takes more skill.😊

Thank you ! your lesson is very useful if we use blue, yellow and red but I was looking for information about "how to pick the right color" among the 66 colors in my palette (Daniel Smith), I'm not sure if a color is in harmony with another 🙂is there a way to know it ?
