- Inhaca Island is a subtropical island of Mozambique. The island was part of the Portuguese Colony of Mozambique, and occupied by the British until 1975. The British used this island, amongst others, to monitor the slave traffic in the area.
35 Km far from Maputo City. Fast Boat can arrive to Island around 60 - 90 Minutes. Nice view than ponta do ouro. Foods , drinks and accommodation are can buy reasonable price. Perfect Place to Enjoy the Day or Holiday.

Lisbon, Portugal. My favourite site for nice family holidays from 1966 to 1977, diving and rod and reel game fishing. Used to fly from Maputo to Inhaca island. There was a nice hotel, nice food and drinks. Great Nature, warm sea, flamingos, fishes, herons. Santa Maria south point picnics and Portuguese island were great.
Beautiful full place to be on summer I can't wait to go back drink 2M
