Lovely Wilby. He appears a little itchy today, and chewing at himself too. which I've not noticed before.
Just mentioning it because my G. Pigs were super-itchy, gnawing/cribbing excessively, very grumpy and bickering at each other (more than usual) . Quick trip to the vets and they found static lice (definitely from cheap hay) and Trixicara mites, which can be fatal. Three weeks of Ivermectin and their 'moods" have somewhat improved.

Hi Julia! Great and cute video as always! I wanted to know if you do this with your guinea pigs? Over here it's very hot at the moment, I freeze hot water bottles over night and lay them under my piggies blankets when it's hot, they absolutely love them!

Als ich mir so die Hängematte angeschaut habe, ist mir etwas eingefallen. Die Hängematte scheint aus Fleece zu sein, was ziemlich wärmt. Wie wäre es, wenn du den Pigs eine Sommerhängematte mit einer Seite aus Wildseide machen würdest? Wildseide kühlt schön, ich habe so eine Sommerdecke für mein Bett. Die Piggies würden so etwas sicher auch schätzen.

Be careful with the heat you can lose your Guine pig put a wet towel on them in the cage put some floor tile in the cage so they can stay cool if they get too hot they will die. I lost six guinea pigs cause it got really hot. Make sure you have cold vegetables in there so they can make sure they don’t get hydrated.
The new air-conditioner is apparently creating comfortable conditions for piggies and “ hoomans”, who are sleeping in the GP room!
