- What an amazing Rc Rally event! Starting on tarmac and finishing on some amazing offroad stages. Things didn't go as planned but I learned a lot, looking forward to improve during the season

great race i love that all you need is a parking lot and some paint or chalk and BAM rally course
Another excellent video, well done and thanks for sharing.
I wish we had the interest here in Perth Western Australia like you all have in Europe.
Thanks! Who knows, maybe something will start in Australia too
Nice. Only gonna get better, sweet setup
Love your videos. That was fun. Good luck next time.
Thank you!
What a great effort! I can't really imagine how challenging these courses are! 👍🏻
Nice job, keep it up
Great race👍
Wow, awesome rally course!!! I just subscribed to your channel. 👍👍👍👍
Welcome!
This was a bad ass race I had to watch it twice !
Another great video, thanks for sharing. I see your improvement. Don't worry about the placings, at the moment, when you have better grip on the car they will improve. Keep up the great work :)
Thanks! I miss a bit my Tamiya XV-01 but once I'll set up this Xray in the right way it's going to fly!
Very cool rally! Looks like some very challenging courses. Just curious, what are the different chassis used here by other racers? Thanks and ciao!
Thanks!
Mainly Xray T3-T4-XB4 then Tamiya XV-01 and 02
@@dariorcgarage Cool, thanks for the reply. I'm looking at getting the new XM-01 by Tamiya for a build. I know it's a smaller wheelbase for the M bodies, but it looks like a well designed kit.. just the battery tray is to small for a modern lipo from the reviews I've seen.
@@scaleworksRCit's like a baby XV-02, great choice 👍
If you can program your esc. I would slow down the initial throttle and adjust the throttle curve on your radio
Thanks for the suggestion, right now I'm trying to find the best option using the neutral range on the esc
Fantástico video, lo he disfrutado muchísimo...
Si te puedo hacer una pregunta...
Qué silicona usas de diferenciales según sea asfalto o tierra?
Muchas gracias por tus vídeos
It depends by many factors, just start using 8000-4000and then adapt it based on the conditions, like for off-road try 5000-2000👍
Hi, dident you have the dates for all the races this year somewhere on your channel? I could not find it now but think I have read it somewhere?
Hi! Yes, you can find it here

I see you are using a brushed motor, what esc are you using? Thanks
Motor Brushless hobbywing 13.5T esc hobbywing xr10

In my opinion your car is oversteer to much.
Thank you for sharing your opinion, you mean in general or on a specific surface?
During this week I worked a lot in order to improve my setup for tarmac, this Sunday I'm going to race in similar conditions.
So we will see if I did the right changes!
@@dariorcgarage In my opinion, it rides quite well on gravel. on asphalt it exhibits oversteer. I couldn't drive your car fast on asphalt.
I like it when I press the gas and the car goes straight, that's how I try to set my RC
@@dariorcgarage Hey, I have one more question. I bought a Justock hobbywing for my rally car. I have made an innerbody like Tux, but there is always some dust getting inside. Sometimes I wish I could ride without innerbody so there would be better cooling. Do you need to take care of the engine somehow? maintain it? I don't want to damage it, and it has many holes through which sand can fly inside.
@@Jacykdust should not be a problem, just make sure time to time to open the engine and clean it. Especially after an offroad session. Till now using a cover I'm not facing overheating problems. But let's see this summer
@@dariorcgarage I see in the movies that in the XV 01 you also had this engine. He was not sheltered there. Were there any problems with it?
Today I trained for an hour in the cover, it was warm, but normal
If this is how rally races are done, I think ill stay in rc drift. This looks annoying as all get out. Chalk track and ya have to run around with your car.. I got a headache just watching this.. Good luck..
