Like instead of the cliche "Blamed for shit ya didn't do" trope, what if The Fat Controller was about to verbally unload on Thomas, but Maryon quickly steps in and explains the situation, the Fat Controller is caught off guard as Ryan tells him about the bad coal, but Thomas steps in and says he himself is at fault because he failed to warn Ryan about it. So it was either dump the dynamite or let Ryan get blown sky high. The Fat Controller firmly but mature acknowledges the situation and tells Thomas to take the rubble away, while he orders more dynamite. Thomas would be confused as to why he wasn't scolded this time, but would start to acknowledge that him constantly saying "It ain't my fault" was the reason he was chewed out the previous two incidents. Maybe before the chase with Sailor John, Thomas and the Fat Controller talk things over, as the Fat Controller explains that the reason he didn't scold Thomas, was because Thomas actually admitted he was at fault, whereas trying to deny he was at faul for the Knaoford and Cavern mishaps he says was bizarrly out of character for Thomas, while Thomas begins to verbally beat himself up for being an idiot, and he asks why the Fat Controller NEVER had Thomas sent away for all the trouble he's caused over the years? The Fat Controller explains that while Thomas is one of his cheekiest engines, he's also one of his most dedicated and that no matter how many times Thomas gets on his bad side, he KNOWS its never with malicious intent, but simply a result of a bad ego getting in the way. Thomas apologizes for all that's happened, and when he tells him about Sailor John, the Fat Controller tells Thomas to stand guard at Knapford, and the movie continues as normal.

A true sad song for Thomas the train, this is absolutely the greatest music I've ever heard of. Even though thomas sang this song I'm not useful anymore, but we can all say he is a really useful blue tank engine because we all love our Thomas.
To be honest last year this was my first time hearing this and I've never heard Thomas has a different...man voice but he sounds great. The next favorite music that I love.

The LB&SCR E2s were never really useful except as large shunters and ultra short distance goods runs. Only 10 were ever built and not one of them is still around today, all being scrapped. They were huge for 0-6-0 tank engine standards, having a 16 foot wheelbase. They had insufficient coal and water capacities, and the E2s had Westinghouse air brakes, which were known to apply rather inconsistently. ironically enough In 1914 two were tried on passenger trains, with both engines being in the middle of a rake of 6 push pull coaches, three on each end, but they tended to wobble side to side at higher speeds because of an imbalance between the pistons and driving wheels, causing them to ride rather rough, and combined with their insufficient coal and water capacity, they just weren't found suitable for branch line passenger trains. They railways didn't have the budget to rebuild or replace the E2s, so they stayed around all the way to 1963. They were used in various marshalling yards until the 1950s. 6 E2s spent their last years at Southampton docks, and there they were quite useful, however they couldn't go around some of the tighter corners of the docks because of their wheelbase length, which wasn't helped by the fact that WW2 brought a lot of American built s100 Class 0-6-0T to the UK, 14 of which became the SR USA Class, and these had a 10 foot wheelbase, and because of it, they were slightly more practical than the E2s in The dockyards. The remaining e2s and the 14 SR USA tanks were replaced by 14 Ruston and Hornsby built BR class 07 diesel electric shunters(same class as salty), unfortunately all of the E2 Class tank engines wound meeting the cutter's torch by April 1963.
