I’ve been a fan of BjorntheBear for a long time, and I’ve always wanted to see someone make his types of videos but for TOTK instead of Elden Ring. This is pretty much exactly that, thank you!
Too bad you can’t make Ganondorf fight Calamity Ganon from BOTW.
Imagine a ganondorf, calamity ganon, and thunderblight ganon bossfight
Even if Calamity Ganon was in the code and spawnable, I really doubt it would be an interesting fight. Calamity ganon has several weakpoints around its body which are the only way to damage it, plus you need ancient arrows, the bow of light, or sword beams from the master sword to damage them. Putting aside the fact that Ganondorf has none of those, I dont think his ai would prompt him to actually target said weakpoints. And, EVEN THEN, if he were by some miracle able to run around the body and shoot the weakpoints, calamity ganon puts up such little resitance that the fight would be boring and one sided.
Ganondorf vs the Blights on the other hand...
@@sagehanson190 Good point.... I was a three v one of Calamity ganon, thunderblight and ganondorf.

@@EverythingInMyBrain ah, actually that thing I believe is just called Calamity Ganon. I for some reason thought you were talking about Dark Beast Ganon. A fight against Calamity Ganon would be pretty sick actually, though probably wouldn't work unless some of his moves were disabled. Spawning him out of the arena in BotW causes him to jump back towards where the arena wall should be, and fly off into the horizon since there is no wall for him to land on. I dont remember if non-arena walls work or not.
When I saw the notification that Swordy had posted a new Ganondorf fight, I came as fast as I could. Didn’t know my matchup would be honored. Thanks so much. Loved it! As I suspected, Ganondorf took no damage to King Gleeok because of his elemental resistance.
Edit: he took a bit of damage from the physical force of the blast and would have eventually lost cuz icicles take hella damage.
The video may not make it super clear but Ganondorf does take damage from the Gleeok beams, It may be that the damage from the beams isn't purely elemental.
@@Swordy25 you’re completely right. I noticed afterwards.
I even remember now that two days ago I did a test where I fought a thunder gleeok with the thunder helm equipped and still took some physical damage from the thunder blasts.
How many phantom Ganons does it take to defeat the second phase of Ganondorf?

You could try how many bokoblins it takes to defeat the demon king. It would also be cool to see Queen Gibdo in some of these fights.

Gibdo would win, Ganondorf doesn't inflict elemental attacks to weaken her

If Ganondorf fought the King Gleeok for long enough, I'm pretty sure that the King Gleeok would win. Most of the King Gleeok's attacks do primarily elemental damage (for obvious reasons), which Ganondorf is immune to. However, the icicles in its second phase do quite a bit of physical damage, and the King Gleeok would probably be too high for any of Ganondorf's attacks to reach.

That this Ganondorf lacks the float or teleport Ability that he has in other games makes him way more inferior to other Ganons, heck other Ganons even have a complete invulnerability to any form of attack that is NOT based on the Element "holiness", even Calamity Ganon had at some point with his Dark Beast Phase something that made him immune to any form of damage the only way to harm him are Light Arrows because they are holy, Anchient Arrows because they are like an Artificial Version of the Light Arrows, and the Master Sword beams because the Master Sword is a Holy Weapon
@@Chris-gx1ei you're absolutely right. This version of Ganondorf's high vulnerability and taking too much damage makes him truly inferior to the others. He feels really weak and dies too quickly. The long health bar, the fact that he can flurry, breaking hearts and weapons with gloom, all those things are just for effect. Those didn't make him as tough as he should be. The story hyped him as overpowered. His design is the best so far. But in actual gameplay, he falls woefully short of what he should be. I've been trying to fix this in my own way, so I posted a video I called "lore accurate Ganondorf challenge" where I nerf myself for the boss fight. I hope they drop dlc that fixes his power level in gameplay

TotK Ganon always seemed to be inferior to his other incarnations, I mean others have not just Elemental Resistance but are completely immune to any form of Physical or Magical Attacks that are not based on the Element Holiness, like Wind Waker Ganondorf couldnt even be cut with a weakened Master Sword or Twilight Princess Ganondorf even surviving the Sword of the Sages despite it being holy and USING that Holy Weapon while he himself is a Dark Lord.
And not to forget A Link to the Past Ganon who had the full Triforce under his comand and not even the Master Sword can damage him without doing spin attacks or upgrading it into the Golden Sword.

@@Swordy25 yes! I thought it only worked on ryujinx. But do I have to emulate totk on my pc for the mod to work?
@@thebossmods8 I Can't see why it wouldn't work on the Switch. As a general rule if it works on Ryujinx it will work on the Switch.
@@Swordy25 do you know how to spawn the monsters? I looked on the gamebananna page and it didn’t say how to, so I assumed you would have to emulate it on pc to spawn them.
