- So, what's up with this Fastpass Plus system at Disney World? In this episode, I spend a little more time with you on the ins and outs of the Fastpass Plus system and I'll give the rundown on how to make and use Fastpasses as well as tips!

Hi! I loved your video! It answered all my questions about the new fast pass system, although i still have one, the fast pass ticket no longer exists? all the fast passes must be get online?
Juan J. Ramos At Disney World, it's all online now. Disneyland still has the paper fastpass.
We have a reservation at Art of Animation for March. From what I've read, we can set up our fastpasses 60 days in advance instead of the 30 if you're not staying on-site. I know I'm early looking at this, but I'm assuming when it gets to the 60 days, it will actually have the days highlighted when I go in to add my fastpasses on MDE? Right now, just trying to make sure I know what I'm doing, it is only showing 30 days highlighted. Love your videos - haven't been to Disneyworld for 10 years so there is a lot of new things to see & learn.
+Trudy Wimberley Correct, the fastpasses will pop open at midnight EST the day your 60 day mark hits for fastpasses

Great Video! I will be going to Magic Kingdom in May and I'm taking my nephews with me... Before that I had already done my fastpass selections, is there a way I could link their tickets to my fastpass, if so, how can I do it ?

Hi Linda! Just go to Friends and Family and you should be able to add them there. It will ask you to invite the other family if they've already created an account. If not, just link their tickets to your account like you did your own.
how can I select FP when not all the members of the family will go on the same ride? thanks
Fernanda Sanchez The first window will let you select fastpasses per person so if there are a few that will want the same, pick those first then go back and select the other guests and pick their fastpasses. Another way to do so is select the same for everyone then click edit time on one fastpass. Keep those that want a different time checked and choose a new time. That will split the fastpass and you can change the attraction.
This was a great video !!! I am going to surprise my daughter for mothers day and take her to magic kingdom I'm having hard time with my last fast pass choosing between Splash mountain and the electric parade. Can you still get a good spot for the parade? Is it worth using a fast pass ? They said I would be at town square with a fast pass but I was looking to sit in front of the castle so if I see the 9pm show when its done I can just turn around and watch celebrate the magic but im not sure if I should keep it or use the fast pass for splash mountain
Christina Lynn I normally don't think using a fastpass for the parade is necessary but using it for Wishes is completely worth it if that's still an option. There are many areas to catch the parade, especially if it's offered twice.
They needed the update. only way to do fastpass to see anna and elsa and get reasonable times for family of 4 is to break it up into 2 parties and get over lapping fastpass times.I think the best fastpass kiosk is the jungle boat ride location. Mine train was down everyday we were there in august yuck i just don't see the hype in a 10 second ride it just wasn't what I was hoping for.Kali river rapids fastpass line not marked clearly through the turns they need to fix that. One secret tip that I wish someone would have told me is the rider switch can be used right after using fastpass so 2 rides within just a few min. of each other is great.
I agree Anna and Elsa is crazy right now! We liked using the kiosk in Frontierland and Pirates of the Caribbean. Didn't have to wait too long. Seven Dwarfs is very short, but it was the first time I had rode it so I wanted to be sure I had a fastpass to avoid those lines. The rider switch is a nice hidden gem, I may do a video on that!
Thanks for the helpful video. I have an extra question- for ride A my fastpass+ time period is between 9AM-10AM, does that mean I have to arrive by 9AM or as long as I arrive between that time period I should be fine?

Hi! do you know if you can have fast passes for two different parks in one day even if you stay with 3 or less fast passes? Thanks so much, I love your videos, they have helped me so much with planning my trip!
Hi Lola F.! The My Disney Experience app and webpage does not allow to do separate parks with the first 3 fastpasses unfortunately. You will need to make 3 choices for the first park then once you enter the new park, make any additional choices there. You would need to wait until the 3 choices expire if you are not going to use them before being able to get new ones at the other park as well. You can plan fastpasses for the 2nd park and just not use any at the first one if you prefer their attractions. I hope this all makes sense! Have you booked your trip to Disney yet?

hi once your fast pass time opens up how do you make sure the fast pass that you choose transfers to your family i want to make sure we all get the same time
jasmine cipko Hi Jasmine! There will be a an option to make sure everyone gets the same fastpass by just making sure they are all check marked. Are you traveling with more than one family? You'll need to link everyone if so and you can check mark everyone after they are linked. Sent you an e-mail. We can discuss more there!
Omg! Someone plz help :(! First time ever for me and babygirl! Hubby has been to Disney land plenty of times. We are going to Disney World and idk what to do or how to get organized. Lol I'm excited but more panicked! ?

I have a question. I really want to see Wishes up close so I was going to select it as one of my 3 FastPass+ attractions. However, since you have to use all 3 of your FastPasses to get more and Wishes is at close/10pm, wouldn't that mean I'm basically stuck at 3? That sucks.
+Randy It would, but it will be completely worth it if you've never seen it before!
i am going to disney in two weeks my boyfriend and i are annual pass holders and my best friend is buying her annual pass when we get there do you think there is any way i could do the fast pass in advanced with mine and my boyfriends magic bands ( he is not going) and than she just use his magic band to scan to go on the fast pass rides with me when we are there?

Is it possible to get fast passes on the my Disney experience after I use my first 3 fast passes? Do I have to visit a kiosk? How long are the lines are the lines at the kiosks during peak seasons? Lastly do all members of the party have to be present? Thanks sorry for all the questions
Monimor50 Kiosk only and you also have to be in the park you want the fastpass for. Lines aren't too bad and you only need one person in line.
I booked 30 days in advance and yet I still couldn't get 7 dwarfs mine train for the 21st August!!! Any tips?? :(
***** I would try to make a reservation for a breakfast in the park before they open then get in line after breakfast for that attraction! If you can't get a reservation, just head there first at rope drop.
I am going to disney in 2 weeks and we fast passed our first 3 things and i am trying to understand. Do we have to use all 3 of our fast passes first before we can make any new ones? or if we use the first one we can make a new one? Only asking because one of our fast passes is Elsa and Anna Meet and greet at 10 pm on one Thursday and we leave Friday. So are we not going to really be able to fast pass anything until our last day because of this?
Jim Wissler You have to use your 3 fastpasses or let them expire before you can get another and you cannot replace one after 1 has been used. Have you made fastpasses for Thursday? You don't have to wait to make your trip, you can make 3 each day.
hi quick quests its out first time going and we have 9 people going how does fast pass work is it per person or group and would it be better to buy tickets in separate groups?

not to thrilled with the new fastpass+, liked the old paper system. it was much more convenient. this new system is just a big hassle.

When going to the second park, how many additional fast passes do you get?
RandomlyBeautiful13 You can only get one additional at that second park once you arrive and after you've used that additional can you get another. I believe the limit on additional is 3, one at a time.

Amber, why is there a fastpass for the parade?
Heidi Muller- Zuzzolo All the parades at Disney are pretty popular and with the fastpass, you get a preferred location that has a great view. It is a nice spot!
I have 3 day Disney Select ticket exchange certificates and plan to purchase the magicband at the online Disney store. Can I connect the magicband to my, My Experience App ahead of time or only once we get our tickets at the gate?

What if I'm not staying in Disney property and therefore don't have a magic band. How do I use the fast pass once I arrive to the ride? Thank you! :)

Hello! Thanks for the video! I have one question though. Does this only work for guests who've bought their tickets before hand? What would happen to the guests who buy their tickets the day they visit the parks?
+LOLWAAHH Correct. If you buy your tickets that day, you'll have to wait until those are purchased to get fastpasses.

i have 2 fast pass selections for one day and 1 for another day which complete my limit of 3.
do you recommend using the 3 in the same day?
or am i ok using up my 3 fast pass selections on different days?
(im going to Disney a Friday, Saturday, Sunday and have 2 Fast pass selections for Saturday and 1 for Sunday)

+Rose Figueroa Magic Bands are free if you stay on property but if you just have tickets, you can buy a Magic Band and have the tickets and fastpasses uploaded to them.

Yes they do
So is it three fastpasses per park for the whole trip or per day??

+Sonia Oommen No, they will allow you to make one more to use in the parks at a kiosk. After you use that one, you can make another. 6 is the limit but many don't use more than the 3 because many fastpasses are out by the time they can make new ones.
+MickeyTravels Amber okay that makes sense!! One last question, I've heard that it's best two go to more than one park each day so in that case, say I use two fastpasses at one park, can I use my last one at another park?
+Sonia Oommen I know this is from a few months ago, but if you are still interested you can't do that. All three pre booked fast passed have to be picked from the same park. If you want a fast pass from a different park, you can park hop to that park and book it at the kiosk during the trip. :)
