It looked sick with black tendrils and the spiderverse noire suit. Idk how to explain it but the black symbiote stuff and the noire were meant to be. The cutscenes especially look badass with that suit, especially when peter is going bad. But all the other suits it was kinda odd. I did appreciate the classic symbiote suit not changing though.
I actually kinda wished you could choose your own Symbiote Surge Mode default Suit instead of it automatically going to the standard. Like, if you wear the Raimi suit and want the Symbiote Surge suit to be the Black Raimi suit, you could select the Black Raimi suit as the default so every time you use the Symbiote Surge Mode you get the Black Raimi suit unless you pick another to be the default.
@@spiderkill32 idk I feel like that would be the most efficient way of going about it. The suits likely have properties that are assigned separately, so switching to the suit would already take those properties into account. For example, if I switch to the Raimi Black Suit, there should not be any eye animations. So, it makes more sense to make those properties assigned to the suit rather than double checking it every time. So, realistically, it should just be one line because all of the minor changes are already accounted for. (sorry if I overcomplicated that)
My next suggestion is to turn off certain crimes because I love how in the first game you can fight regular criminals only because it made me feel like a regal Spider-Man
I can’t stress this enough. Fighting nothing but symbiotes, hunters, and the fire cult for crimes is so repetitive and boring. I want to be able to fight normal crime as if it was real life
They should’ve added an option were you could exclusively use the symbiote finishers if you had on a black suit. Cause the chances of you doing a symbiote finishers are too slim for my liking 😤

For example I'm a little frustrated they increased the frequency of symbiote takedowns, because now even when I'm not using a symbiote suit I'm constantly getting tendril takedowns. It'd be nice if they added the option to either do symbiote takedowns or Spider Arm takedowns. So I get you. 🤷🏿♂️

You gotta admit while this may not be the best one, this game is among the best spiderman games ever. The homage to spiderman web of shadows with all the symbiote nests and the last arc craziness is awesome, and the gameplay fluidity has improved so much since the first game (both the combat and the traversal). The option to modify the swing assist from 10 to 0 is a nice addition. And the venom section is crazy good (kinda sad it's not long enough but still pretty great). I personally gave this an 8 out of 10
