- Holy crap it has been too long. Like I said, my inspiration has gone down quite a bit since my HDD gave out, but I'm slowly coming back.
Regardless, I've been working on this one over the span of 20 days and have 16 hours put into this. It may have to do with the fact that this is the longest track I've put out that hasn't been looped xD (They usually take like 10 hours max) and not to mention Dubstep is much more complex than any other genre when it comes to sound design, mixing, arranging and all that.
Anyway, this song is one of my favorites from Shara and I'm so glad I was allowed to do something with it. I wanted to make this one of my best dubstep remixes I've made. It was going to be hard to top Hopes and Dreams 2 but I think I did top it solely because of the attention to mixing. (a little ashamed to admit there were some overcompression artifacts in that one that were pretty easy to hear)

Shara has even said she's fine with people remixing her songs and its not like kam just reposted her work. He took a lot of time and effort to remix this and really made it his own, which is really the whole point of a remix.

I love the piano in this, makes the song sound calm. I also loved when the background image turned gray and the music faded out, but you could still hear it. Pretty well done and hope you get inspired again.

Yeah, I'll be honest with you I used to love dubstep back in 2011 - 2013 but I just don't know if I feel the same spark listening to it now with how many people focus on hype rather than deep emotion and feeling like it used to be. Not knocking the new style of course. Regardless, thank you! ^^
