Here's the facts , the head of USSS is a diversity hire all about making the SS more diverse.
She has repeatedly refused to give Trump a full detail of agents for the last 2 years.
Jill has a full detail of agents assigned to her. Trump has pretty much half the agents that jill has so the trump campaign has to rely on local police help to fill in gaps aa he moves around the country.
Right now, yes because she is the current first lady and he is the former president who has no political power. She gets more support because her husband is the current president.
