KOFXIII Tutorial: Improving Execution, Timing & And Rhythm

This tutorial is all about improving on your Execution, but more importantly, your Timing.

Very late to the party but can you explain how to figure out 'the rhythm' for combos? Is it by looking at animation or sprites or just pressing buttons akin to playing a musical instrument?

I have to say the timing in this game is just...it's so freaking TIGHT.
I guess I'm too used to other fighting games but it feels like things randomly chain together when trying to attempt trials.
...huh...wasn't aware about that with King. I tried to pick up Kim because faceladder. Kyo and Robert as well? Huh...
Wait...rhythm? That...actually makes much more sense.

Ok I cannot even manage her BnB.
I've gone so far as to break the combo down into chunks but every time I do the cf.HK into Venom Strike it gets read as freaking TRAP SHOT!

Hello!
Check your inputs! You might accidentally be pressing forward when doing df.HK. KOF is all about clean inputs!
If all else fails, when you do Venom Strike, why not do qcf+uf+K instead of just qcf+K? This will register as Venom Strike~

So...maybe do it more as a third circle instead angled toward 2?
The timing also drives me nuts. I do wish the game would let you turn on a visual indicator to tell you if you're timing is too fast or slow.
I am starting to...KIND OF get your point about clean inputs and timing. I like this game, I do, it just feels like scaling a brick wall without equipment.
