These kids are strong
Ray Mak how did they get in there
Ray Mak and extremely stupid and unworthy of saving
Sahil Pethe well first dumbass, they followed their coach. Maybe get your facts straight lol.
Michael Decker I don't need to get my facts straight. It doesn't matter if they followed the coach or not. It was entirely their own fault for going into a deep ass cave with narrow passageways and for what? Did they expect Buddha to appear before them and give them blessings? And btw they went into the long ass swerving cave knowing full well its rainy season in all of Asia and places are getting flooded left right and center. Forgive me for thinking straight, but would it not have been an extremely good idea to go there in the summer next year hmm? Are these kids not old enough to think before they act or what? They were asking for it and they deserved it. They had it coming.
Ray Mak why are you everywhere?
So sometimes being fat can be a good thing
thats bizarre but kinda true
Well that's why old European paintings show people with fat and curves and called them beautiful. Because back in those times being skinny was due to poverty - having fat meant that you were wealthy and well-fed.
Being fat, u probably will never step out of house and get caught in such situations due to laziness.
Not when it comes to getting out
The son of Prince Akeem no
But the coach was once a monk novitiate and spent days alone meditating in the cave ad part of his training
He was the best protector these could have had
I am thinking the same. Their coach must have done a tremendous job. They were lucky he was there with them.
We still don't know If the coach ask them to go there or the kids ask him but we know a thing that one of reason the kids survives were because of the coach. The kids still respect him and no one point finger for now but I hope it stay the same for a long run
A real protector wouldn't have put them in that mess.
TechFive they were exploring the cave good damn. Every teen in that age would have wanted to visit that and I am sure his intentions were the best.
A real protector takes care of them in that mess.
While the physiological changes are universal, I believe the cultural background, as well as the leadership of the coach in regards to meditation, made a big difference. Thai culture, with a Buddhist background, teaches acceptance. That’s always an important first step in survival - acceptance of your situation. Add to that the capabilities of meditation. The main purpose of meditation is to quiet the mind.
When my mother was told by her doctor that she had uterine cancer she didn’t break down in hysterics like you see in the movies. She just acknowledged that she heard the doctor. He misunderstood and thought she didn’t quite understand the diagnosis due to a language barrier, so he called my sister into the office to translate. My sister explained that there was no such problem and that our mom actually used to be a nurse. So she understood quite clearly. The doctor said in all his years of practice he had never experienced anything like it.
Koko Kosila is your mom okay now?
Koko Kosila they are kids you fucking moron.
Kame Thank for your kind question. This was over a decade ago, and she has been in remission since.
Was wondering when the trolls would start showing up. Using the F-word is highly indicative. Either that, or someone needs to lay off the juice. It is established science that it grows your muscles... but makes you aggressive and shrinks your man parts, if there was anything to shrink in the first place.
There’s always also being a troll on roids 🙄
Koko Kosila I agree, I am British and our only culture for bad things happening is "making the best of it". But also anyone trapped in a cave, whatever culture or age, takes a toll
What some documentaries might not mentioned that those farmers whose padi field got flooded when the diverted the cave water refused to accept compensation from the government. They said that the country has given enough to rescue the boys. They should contribute too. And the boys parents never blame the coach. What a great nation.
They also didn’t mention Ben Reymenants and Maksym Polejaka who actually laid the rope all the way and never gave up risking their lives finding the right passage through the cave.. of it wasn’t for them boys wouldn’t be found..
I was stuck in d elevator with lights and exhaust fan for 3 minutes and i panic like crazy ..
Rah Moh I was stuck in W elevator
If u still can breaths dont worry about it
😅
Dang me too!! I was stuck for half an hour im not even kidding. The lift actually had malfunction and i was so unlucky that day. I panicked like crazy and was about to cry hahahaha
Pussy
I was stuck with my lovers heart
Went on a tour through a cave and they showed us what it’s like without light. If you’ve never experienced it before, I can tell you it is dark... very... very dark. Absolute pitch black and it feels like you’re blind because you’re so used to the moonlight lighting up the night. I couldn’t imagine what these kids went through.
RIP to the Navy Seal who lost his life from oxygen deprivation trying to deliver oxygen and the diver who didn’t win the battle he fought for a year with an infection true hero’s
I did a cave tour and the tour guide asked if she could turn off the lights for a few moments to show absolute darkness. She did... Within 3 seconds I started to have a panic attack because you can imagine what it would be like if you could never find your way out. It was truly terrifying. Even when the lights were turned on in was extremely claustrophobic and couldn't enjoy the tour any longer. So 9 days.... Nothing short of a miracle.
They were so sweet. They were saying thank you even when nothing had been done yet. Pure innocent souls.
The leadership of the coach and the strength of the kids is admirable.
"You need oxygen to function."
You don't say😑
Tris and Angel u'd be surprised...
This one chapter only tells things that an average person already know i, call it an unnecesarry upload.
So many unprivileged can actually benefit from this info
She just stated that to emphasize her next point
God bless the divers. They are heroes. The boys courage is unimaginable. So happy they got out. RIP to the diver who passed away
2:55 this dude throwing up the peace sign! lmao
American kids wouldn't have survived
ZacharyGonzalez American kids can't survive without their iPhone for crying out loud..
No, they are called liberals 😂
But we got more fat, would probably survive
CloudBurst lmao that's true
CloudBurst Foresure!! Our kids would survive 6 months!!😂😂
Frightening experience to say the very least. Thank God for the rescuers that got them out.
Thank you for your documentary.
Brilliant
The first question I ask myself is
“How did they get trapped in the cave?”
I know right!
I went to a cavern tour a few years ago. And at one point, the tour director turned off all the lights in the cave and it was complete darkness. Its so dark, it feels like your eyes are closed shut but you know their wide open.
I would rather hear analysis from Thai cultural philosophical and professional expert not a Western psychological perspective thanks.
I am interessted in both :-)
munci if they were analysing the "wow how did they survive so well during and after all those days in the darkness" would be interested.
What about thai psychological experts?, What would they say? Is it really would be that different from the western one?
corniel absolutely. Different countries study subjects differently, you don’t hear quotes from Thai influencers regarding sociology in western. Over there they live off what they know from their own culture. So shut the fuck up and don’t argue
LRM KLM
Whoa calm down dude, am my wrong to ask that?
Thank God they are safe now... I think the entire planet prayed for those boys... The people who found and rescued them should be commented
I've been through a guided tour in a famous underground cave in the Philippines and I tell you It's just pitch black if there's no light. For a second I was so anxious that I decided never to do any kind of caving activity again. Our group went to another cave in a different island and I wouldn't dare come in even for a just a few meters near the cave entrance.
“You lose track of time when you have no light” bruhhh so lowkey time is actually just light... ah don’t mind me I’m just high asl
They are very trong absolutely themselve 's heart.
soundsound11 has trong lmao
Being in the dark....losing track of time with not knowing whether they will be rescued or not
Gives me goosebumps even thinking about it.....they have suffered in every way possible 😞😭
Although it was traumatizing, they did handle it very well. They used their watches to maintain a good sleeping system. They meditated to get their mind off of food. They used their flashlight for short periods of time to keep the battery.
Thanks, for all the help to our Thais, they would not be able to come out with out every one. All love to every 9be from the Thais. ~~
I'm so glad they created a diagram because the entire time this was happening I was so confused about how they are in a flooded cave
Americans and Europeans psychologists commenting on this story are unaware of significant cultural differences between east and west. For instance, so-called "mental illness", which is like a trendy fashion in the West, is almost non-existent in Asia. These boys not only asian, but poor - only one had cell phone. But maybe all had flashlights - led flashlights last a long time. Poor rural thai boys don't have a lot of electronic diversions and facebook obsession, so easier for them to endure. Not saying it was easy, but easier. Now the boys have had heads shaved and going to buddhist monestary - that is for atonement and psychological well being and to keep media away from them.
If the boys were American, all would be put on psych meds and they would be forming a boy band to capitalize on their fame, with no shame for causing the death of one rescuer.
rh001YT rh001YT agree with cultural differences, but mental illness as a trend that is almost non existent in Asia? Come on. Try to google "suicide rate by country" and see where the top countries are from. Just because people in Asia talk about it less, doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
And your presumption about Americans is, sorry to say, disgusting. I'm a thai and I'm thankful for the American medias who brought up this issue to the light, also their help and honor for the fallen hero in many forms. Since the issue has been raised, more professional divers from all over the world volunteered to help (Finnish, British, Danish, etc). Even Elon Musk who happened to be American offered another method to rescue the boys with advanced techs for free. The families also received lots of support thanks to the exposure (and of course Thai govt).
The media could be cruel and unfairly monetized sometimes, and I agree that their decision to heal their minds for now is the best decision. But please be respectful towards everyone by at least, not making any irrational judgment over someone's race or nationality.
No hate 🙏
Goddamn the boy band part made me lul
Hi. Suicide rate for Asia is low compared with the rest of the world, there being 2 exceptions, Sri Lanka and S. Korea. In the case of S. Korea the rate is highest among poor rural elderly, who, it is claimed, don't want to be a burden on their family. Sri Lanka...I don't know what the main driver is, though I suspect poverty. India, which ranks lower than one might expect, would rank even lower if not for suicide among totally ruined and impoverished farmers.
Thailand ranks up around 46 out of 183, which is higher than I expected, but may be due to poverty. Somewhat high rank of Thailand may be related to significant "recreational" drug use...significant when compared with the rest of Asia. There's a difference between suicide due to really bad circumstances and mental illness as a fashion statement in USA.
I'm not making any irrational judgements over race or nationality. I am Caucasian American and I see all the phony mental illness here with my own eyes. There's a lot of people from Asia in USA and the general opinion is that they're very mentally stable.
USA media did little except echo reports from British media. Obviously England has historical ties in Thailand. I greatly respected Thai govt. for keeping media away from rescue operation and barely speaking to the media about it at all. BTW, Elon Musk seems to have jumped in for publicity and at least one of the rescue divers said that his (Musk's) capsule would not have fit through some of the tightest turns in the escape route.
rh001YT That's a very harsh response.
Angela Anastasia Thank you.
They are so young and brave :’)
Imagine seating there looking into the water then here come some bright ray of light. Damn they didn't even while. They are really strong kids. Props to all people efforts and salute to all who lost their lives while on the rescue mission.
when i think deeply about this situation.. My heart trembles..
I look forward to a movie on this,, I hear it's going to be in production soon.
"Bagpack isn't go inside" one boy said. But the drivers think he asked to go outside. I heard they said in Thai like "there's food in the bagpack"
Ken Rascon Wow!! You're so stereotypical. If you think I should been in a kitchen, then you should been in a cave, Mr.Caveman!! Lol
Ken Rascon That's cool!! So I could be the Spider woman and use my power to shut your mouth
Ken Rascon you’ll have to excuse him, the only woman he’s come more than 5 feet from is his mother- and even she hates him.
Ken Rascon dues vuelt! I am the white night, all girls are queens!
The Blunt Truth you seem very determined to win this argument, eh? You realize you’re being hypocritical right?
2:17 me when I just survived
How.. Did they get there?
What resilience and tenacity...
9 days without light and someone shines a torch in their eyes.
I'm claustrophobic... Oh no!!
Ftin Ftin but there are no santa clause squidward..
Oh no!!!
me too
They will make a movie of this for sure, those kids are very brave and strong.
yes now they’ve documentary n series
Looking at the thumbnail, I was expecting something about painting yourself red to survive. 🤔
God Bless these kids let's hope the best for them praying for them!! ❤
according to this doctor, I could last for years in a cave. lol
Borderlands808 you sound huge fat boy! Lol
R u thicc? Thiccer than me?
BeTrue2Urself I’m only 900 lbs
Paolo Inigo not fat. Fluffy.
You would last up to 40 days. Your body is bigger so it takes more energy to keep everything going, so you may deteriorate at the same rate but it would be good for ya now wouldnt it tubby
OH MY GUSH!!! NEVER THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE TRAPPED THAT DEEP!!!
These 12 boys need to participate in the reality show SURVIVOR. They'd definitely win the contest!
Dude, you're not lying. True competitors right here.
Kevin P screw that if this were me I’d just beat fast food all day and rest and say “I made it out” Not do this shit again
Why would they win the contest ? They didn't do anything wich requires some sort of skill in that cave. They just waited.
But survivor is scripted asf
um r u joking
Thank's God they were rescued!
"how many r u in there?"
"13"
"Brilliant"
😂😂😂
Caves : *exists*
12 kids and their coach: *it's free real estate*
These kids are strong and clever.
Who dug that cave is a mystery for me.
Savvy Dude nature created that shit boy
Savvy Dude nature created it
Claudia Estrada hmm
Maybe it was Steve, or a creeper
BeTrue2Urself I promise you it wasn't....
But the main question is that how they stuck so deep?
shebaz khan they were exploring and stuff and then the cave started flooding with water in one part so they were trapped i believe
shebaz khan As water rise, they have to move to higher ground. They would obviously run the opposite way the water is coming from
sabrina smith they where exploring and playing TWO AND A HALF FUCKING MILES DEEP INTO A CAVE??? LMAO 😂
AJ G yeah lol ? big fuckin deal they did it many times before
sabrina smith yeah because a few children would walk for a few hours into a cave just to ‘explore’... no one does that
Andy Randylle- Awesome explanation. You explained it well! Thank you.
So blind people go through this everyday ??
Kevin lkg Not really, unless they live in a cave. They can still sense the surrounding lights and tell if it's day or night. But this is a complete darkness.
Knowing Hollywood, they’re going to make a movie based on this in the future.
Brave kids
Pugs Bugoy no its teenagers
thai comunist mapping Teenagers are kids even to a 20 year old u can say hes a kid because hes very young.
BeTrue2Urself no i know
BeTrue2Urself you think me said coach is kid? you are stupid! im thai thai know everythings about thailand
thai comunist mapping dont call me stupid just because I gave u an advise which was actually nice from me to tell you so you dont make the same mistake in the future again...
Somebody is gonna make a movie out of this....
How did they even get there i feel so bad for them
Angela Yang
When they first went in the cave was perfectly fine but it started to rain making the cave flood so they had no way out
Salute to determination of kids and hard work of men
I have been stucked for 9 yrs in my home.
Not to be rude, but how the hell did they end up there??
How did they got inthere?
How do you think? Obviously they walked in when it wasn't flooded.
Hasn’t seen light for 9 days *shines flashlight in all their eyes*
The male voice sounds like Connor from assassins creed III
panic is the nr.1 factor why people die in any dangerous situation .. you always need to control your fear, if you want to get out of something alive.. those boys were rly brave to be capable of this
I've trapped on public toilet for a night when I was a kid
Mr. 2 minutes rip
Hahahahahhahahhahahahaaha lllolll
? Was it a one person bathroom
Stephen Miller | 3 square meter per bathroom+toilet, its on a gas station with rest area, i go there when mine was broken, its locked completely every 7pm-6am, i was taking poop but they don't check i was there then BOOM! i get locked.
Mr. 2 minutes wowwww that sucks bro
My real question is.. How the “actual FUCK” did they get all the way down there? Impossible shit man damn.
👍👍❤️❤️
Can we get a movie where Scarlet Johansson plays all the kids and the coach?
There won't be a movie made on this event. Hollywood not interested in hiring 13 Asians to portray them
Alex Zabala There are already 4 films in the works. But maybe the producers will employ poetic license and make the cave somewhere hidden in the Hollyweird hills and cast a bunch of Cali teens.
Lol
Shut up, they can do a white version
This operation happen when I was in Thailand to visit my family on vacation
They have flash lights!!!
Fleshlight* to keep sucking on
tanto hermanus you're disgusting
Lowbatt
Ketchupboyz Sorot.T its use 1 day only
Hidari Legara no its use for 1 day only
What were they doing there in the first place? How'd they get trapped?
Why go 2 miles into a cave ? I mean...
Their will to live is indeed strong.
I tried the Operation Thai Cave maneuver once, but my wife got pissed.
Oh god...
Wtf
I see darkness in your eyes, fellow human
ive been trapped in a dark cave for almost 38 weeks, untill a doctor got me out.
How TF did they make all the way in there but couldn't make it back out??
Michael Garcia the cave flooded when it rain so now they can only swim out
Oh wow thts crazy..
Michael Garcia The cave entrance were flooded and so the only way is to Try to find another exit because the water kept flooding in.
Sentient Chin Said it but isn't clearly why.
How did they get there?!
How did they even get stuck down there?
vizoh idiotic coach led them into a bad situation.
Bad luck and timing. Also inaccurate signs.
Deleted Account you dont walk for two miles acccedentally. It was a stupid decision and it is 100% the fault of the coach.
but if it has ups and downs and hills how did they climb that? how did they end up so far
Amazing kids I would give them 10 MacDonald's asap..........cuz they must have been hungry....u am Soo happy you found them......
Next time they surely are going on a treasure hunt, I bet they Tom Sawyer fans.
I hope this isn't a stupid question but how did they end up in the cave?
Think of hell.
It’s same with no light
If anyone’s reads this remember hell is same with no light for eternity.
But there is a way out.
Mathew Mithiyaz John What way out
Itz That Guy Aaryan : accepting Jesus Christ as the son of God and your personal saviour.
Don't forget the part when demons rips you into shreds and throws you into the fire pit over and over for eternity.
Just Peachy they hate you because you look like God. He made them in His image
Outside of your mythology, what proof do you provide to support such ridiculous claims?
Ah yes just shine that sun-bright light RIGHT in their eyes
Trying to think of a cavey pun
....
Thomas MELCHERt the rescuers say it will be dangerous, but, they stillag might make it out soon
Heyyy I think you shouldn't make jokes about this.... a person died and 13 got traumatized
Riza Mayl shut the fuck up
@@stephenmiller9009 fuck the shut up
@@PasscodeAdvance whats the magic word
Whenever I see the video clip of the divers' initial contact with the boys in the cave, I keep asking myself why they kept shining the light directly on their faces. The boys have been in complete darkness for more than a week and are very photosensitive. Am I the only one thinking about this? Just pointing a flashlight to someone's face in general is annoying enough, better yet be in complete darkness for more than a week.
How did they even get in there the first place
Yashoda Bhatia i guess its some kind of the thier culture thing idk its exact thing
i think it was an organised activity like you do with your school at the end of the year
They where chillen
They were hanging out there and the water went higher so they had to go in higher grounds that trapped them
Searching for Pokémons
Excuse me... Im wondering of HOW and WHY they being down there.. Is there any videos talking about that? I would like to know more.
How all 13 of them got in the first time
KVN searching for Pokémon
So Proud
If it an American kids all of them will cry like baby!
Michelle Harris if it was American kids, at least they could say that sentence correctly.
Michelle Harris bitch shut the fuck up quit acting like a fool
If it was american kids they wouldnt have wandered two and a half miles into a cave during a rainstorm.
The American kids wouldn’t have been dumb enough to go into that cave in the first place
Why is literally everyone who isn’t American saying “oh those dumb fat ass Americans wouldn’t survive” why are ppl who have probably never been to America hating on us??? Are ppl jealous or have you just seen what the news says which is usually wrong and now everyone thinks we all fat, do your research not all of us live at McDonalds and not all of us are obsessed with our devices 🙄🙄
(Sorry if that was harsh I’m just upset with all these comments hating on one country that is a wonderful country like all of the other countries have problems to its not just America)
Americans saved the kids dumbass
How did they get there?
Me Thailand
TheKonG KungZy you gay boy?
tanto hermanus yea why?
ME DONT CARE
Lmao kids you're lucky you're not meeting him irl
(tanto hermanus)
I want to know how did they reach there???
I remembered in Malaysia 3 years ago when 7 kids age of 7 - 12 yo lost in the jungle. Only two elders survive. Their physical body help much than the younger kids
What did they eat though? Throughout 9 days before being discovered?
How did they get there in the first place ?
How did they get stuck in the cave? (How did they end up there?)
Ok so all i wanna know is why are they that far away inside thay cave? Did they just walked through there and then some heavy raining flooded the cave?
10 days in dark cave.. That's insane.. Some body plis make movie from this event
