i have been listening to this composition for as long as I am able to remember, and I have found great interest and pleasure in the piece. But I never realized until viewing this video that a single percussionist is handling the complete primary job. I am particularly impressed and fascinated now in seeing how a sole performer is able to "multi-task" throughout and not error. It is something to keep both the soloist and the audience on their toes. A most splendid workout here. (The player certainly has to be very attentive on this one, with queues and all.)
Ik luister al zo lang als ik me kan herinneren aan deze compositie en ik heb veel interesse en plezier gevonden in het stuk. Maar ik heb me pas bij het bekijken van deze video gerealiseerd dat een enkele percussionist de volledige primaire taak voor zijn rekening neemt. Ik ben nu vooral onder de indruk en gefascineerd om te zien hoe een enkele artiest overal kan "multitasken" en geen fout. Het is iets om zowel de solist als het publiek scherp te houden. Een meest fantastische training hier. (De speler moet hier zeker op letten, met wachtrijen en zo.)

Wonderful work and wonderful interpretation. The interaction between percussion and instruments can be approached in multiple ways, this one is excellent and poetic. Congratulations, Laura Trompetter !

You did a really great job. I am one of the few who know about this piece of music. It doesn't come around that often. Having a recording of Evelyn Glennie doing an album of Various Percussion concertos. That was when I first heard this piece of music. All of the subtleties where there..

I love your performance! Who sells that triangle machine? I know in the United States we have a similar one (The Miller Machine).
Very well done! And it doesn't hurt that the soloist is pretty, in a sort of Jennifer Lawrence fashion.
