The boy that threw the liquid on his friend should be made to take responsibility. His parents have just shown him he can do whatever and have no consequences. Meanwhile the victim is the one who continues to suffer physically and mentally. So wrong

  • @stephaniedouglasaviewfroma9596

I was in this area of the Richardsons murders and working as a reporter. I've always been upset at how this was reported on by others. First, she was a 12-year-old child and he was a 23-year-old man. A 12-year-old is easily manipulated by a predatory adult. Second, there has never been any mention as to why her family did not contact the police at the very beginning and charge the man with rape, child abuse and endangerment and file a restraining order against him from the moment he met her. If a 23-year-old man approached my daughter or grandchildren in any way, you can be sure the first time would be the last time. I hold the adults responsible for how this situation played out.

Totally agree!! Parenting these days? It’s like they are terrified their kids won’t love them anymore if they get “shown the way of life” - which is a parent’s #1 JOB! What’s causing this fear by parents? Did they start letting little have Jimmy EVERYTHING from Day One? Never heard the word NO? That’s only thing I can come up with. I had 4 kids to teach thru this life. It wasn’t hard because as parents, we were automatically seen and known by the kids as the elders, the ones who made the rules (with no death sentence hanging over their heads)…they just knew from their birth exactly who were the decision-makers, the ones who could make the decisions because it was baked in at birth, they knew that they sure as hell weren’t the qualified rule-makers. It starts from day one! It’s so nauseous to think that a father didn’t know to AUTOMATICALLY make that police call…that your 12 year old daughter was being diddled by a 23 year old man!! Unthinkable! Of course this was entirely the parents’ fault! She didn’t even know what a BOUNDARY was. Omg!

WARNING ' long post, read at your own risk. lol
I agree Paul, however since the government has decided they can interfere in the family unit. Children have been told by the authorities that their parent can't discipline them anymore. It started back in the 80s as far as I know.
My son, then 5 yo came home with a letter from his teacher. It informed me that if he ever complained that he was abused at home, the school would be obliged to take it to the police.
My son then stood their with a smug righteous smile on his face. I asked him if he thought that this letter would stop me from disciplining him for being a bad boy. He said that if I did I'd go to jail, so I said and when I got out of jail, I'd give him another flogging, to which he said, then you'll go back to jail, and I reminded him what would happen once I got out of jail.
He stood there and thought for a while then he said is there away I don't get flogged?
I said absolutely, you be a good boy and do what you're told and I'll be giving you hugs instead of floggings. He thought a gain and finally said, that'll have to do. lol
I wasn't mad, I was annoyed, not at my son, I was annoyed at the school for trying to intervene in my family. I went to the school and had it out with the Principle. He mention that he was just discussed with a father who would flog his son. I asked him who told him my son was being flogged. Apparently my son was over heard in the school yard telling his mates that if he did something naughty that I would flog him.
The principle said I wasn't allowed to flog my son. I said to him that although I say to my son that I'll be flogging him if he does play nicely with his sister, I don't actually do it. I rarely have to punish my kids, but I make it sound worse than it really is. I told him I use my hand on his bottom and I know when he's had enough when my hand starts to sting. I don't abuse my children and my wife agrees with our measures to instil a good attitude with our children.
I said that I will continue to to keep my children in line, and bring them up as good decent citizens or.........I can come here every time my children play up and act out being naughty and give you the flogging meant for my son, and I can guarantee that it won't be as benign as what I'll be handing out to the child. If a crime has been committed, then a punishment will be extracted from someone. You get my drift?
He was a smart man even if he was half my size. He informed me that we'll not take this any further. lol
      Side note,
I did get divorced, for totally different reasons. However I was picking my children up for my fortnightly weekend visits and I found out that my youngest son was being abuse by my ex's boyfriend. You see there's something about (I'll call him T) T that conventional corporal punishment just doesn't work. You're better to put him in his room and not let him out until he comes back to apologise to you for being naughty. It really tears him up being isolated.
Anyway, my ex has no idea how to discipline children, to start she's so inconsistent that she confuses the child with conflicting orders. Add to that, that she is so weak that my youngest is actually laughing at her while she trying to smack him, so she told her boyfriend to do the disciplining.
He decided he wasn't going to hurt his hand by smacking him and took a jug to my sons backside and top of his legs....12 times. T had enormous welts across his legs for3 days until I saw them. I asked his sister who caused it and my daughter told me everything. I was mortified and so angry that if I had him in front of me I could see putting him in hospital.
So I waited until I took the children back to their mother. I knew her boyfriend would be with her and when I pulled up he got out of the drivers seat and I got out and king hit him. He went down like a sake of shit and then I took to him with a jug cord I bought specially for this. I gave him 24 stripes and told him if he ever put a hand on my children again he can consider this a very small down payment for a very large flogging next time.
By the time I was finished his was laying on the ground holding his legs, not games to get up. I went to the ex and she cowered back as if she was going to get the same treatment. I told her that I have never hit a woman even when they are as evil as she. I said if it ever happens again I'll rescind my not hitting women vow and take it out on her.
I also told her that I'd have the children taken off her. I also told her that if I get the police at my door for your boyfriends punishment, I have photos of the stripes on T's legs and I'll have custody of my children that day. Retaliate against the children and the photos go to child services. She never damaged the children again. In fact she would bring the children to me for disciplinary actions
I found out that her boyfriend dumped her the next day roflmao
PS My daughter uses me as a a stick over her children's heads. At a family gathering my granddaughter told me that if they are naughty that their mother will pin a note to their shirt detailing their offence and send them to their grandfather's house and let me sort them out.
My grandchildren love me as much as I love them and they found it hard to believe that I would discipline them in any fashion.
My oldest son told them if they get sent to grandad's place then he'll rip their arms off, stick them in their ears and ride them around like motorbikes
My youngest granddaughter laughed and said yeah right as if. My daughter said that it's true and bloody well hurts too. making out she has been on the receiving end. lol
Funny, I've never has a grandchild show up at my door alone with a note pinned to their shirt...and my kids say they have perfect little angels for children. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂 And they still love me. lol

@@justunicorn001 thank you for sharing this story sorry that it was at the expense of sharing family issues. Me being American my dad was the authority figure so to speak but he worked out of town and state sometimes... therefore my mom was disciplinarian... I've been whooped with belts, shoes, extension cords, limbs whatever was fit for the punishment... I remember 1 time my sister was caught skipping school because my dad showed from work out of the blue my sis and her friends snuck out the back door before he got in the house. Therefore when I got home from school to my surprise my dad was there but he could tell I wasn't the one at the house idk how he was able to discern that but he was right so when my sister rolled up with her friend he knew what was what... she ran away with her friends in one of their rides my dad didn't chase her instead he called my mom she left work immediately and chased my sister down... She got my sister home and proceeded to whip the ever loving shit out of her with a switch that she made my sister go get... my sister went to school the next day then in gym class her fellow students that were at my parents house the day before seen how bad she had been whooped they told their parents and their parents called dhs or cps as some know it... they came to the house to investigate and needless to say they left knowing we were in good hands... bottom line parents should be able to discipline the kids... but not all parents are parents some are just abusive sperm or egg donors

I got to say ,number 9 is crazy ,and I don't think it's right. It's not like it was done on purpose at all! I can see if the boy got something like a reckless driving ,considering he was probably inconsolable and full of guilt in the moments after the accident. He was specificslly learning with his father ,and plenty of times during driving lessons in a parking lot (even my parents and I did this as well) the parent gets out to try to direct ,or explain something to the child ,and I find it rediculous they used that against her ,and made her charges worse. I mean ,don't you think she's already heartbroken ,and feels just awful knowing that it's her fault her father isn't alive ,even though I don't think it had anything to do with her wanting to kill him ,or having any kind of malicious intent so why do they have to take it all the way to manslaughter, but not even accidental? Plus he was burned and hurt and disfigured for Gods sake. That one is just sad all the way around man ,that's all I can say.

Afterwards 4 other kids were with him and they ambushed my car, all aged 14 to 16, I attempted to evade my attackers one of them decked me one i was cut in two spots, had two orbital wall fractures. All kids are out free today.

The slenderman girls didn't help her get to the hospital, they abandoned her, & went searching for slenderman. Thankfully, a bike rider came across her, saving her, they were found much later, still looking.
JIC you make a part 2, here's a few others, there's a few child serial killers, the youngest was like 7 when he was caught. Many kids have killed family, friends, neighbors, or strangers. A 10yr old, stomped a baby to death recently, it's terrifying, what they can do, & sometimes get away w/probably good to remember. 3 young ones were given new names/identities after their release. Killer Mary Bell, & 2 who Murdered James Bulger, though 1 of the boys back in jail again.

That kid was broken way before Halo came out. My friends and I use to play pong (not Atari pong but the whole machine was pong as cartridges didn't quite exist yet.) and D&D and we didn't murder our parents. Now our parents made it pretty clear they brought us in the world and they'd take us out of it if we crossed them. I mean I saw my dad beat my brother to within an inch of his life for stabbing him. Told the Dr we roughhoused a lot and he came home from work to find him like that.

The slenderman girls that stabbed their friend DID NOT rush her to the hospital they left her in the woods. The little girl crawled by herself to a part where a man out jogging found her and HE called 911. There's even the 911 call that is public, and I don't know where you got that misinformation or if you just didn't get the facts. But DON'T paint those 2 girls as good friends, that had a sudden change of heart to save their friend bc they didn't. They left her for dead and went on their merry way acting like nothing happened.
