The Raptor 2 by Pride Mobility is part of the Baja Series and its currently the fastest scooter made by Pride Mobility. It can travel up to 14 MPH and has a travel range of up to 31 miles on a full charge with a 200 lb load. The Afikim Afiscooter S3 is the most comparable model buts its only capable of reaching a top speed of 12 mph when you upgrade the motor to the high output motor package. The Afikim S model scooters are available in a 3-wheel and a 4-wheel configuration and can do about 28 miles on a full charge. There are plenty of upgrade options for the battery on the Afikim scooters, such as the 105 AH upgrade that can get you closer to 35 miles and with our exclusive option to upgrade to Lithium batteries, you can get up to 90 miles on a full charge!
The main difference between the Afiscooter and the Raptor is the fact that the Afiscooter can handle off road terrain better and it provides a smoother ride when going off road. The Afikim scooters are also much more customizable with options to get a roof top canopy, bigger tires for going on sand, many seat options including a 2 person seat and you can even get a compact version of the Afiscooter known as the C model.
Another key differentiator between the two is that Afikim includes a 3 year in home service agreement exclusively with Mobility Direct. Pride only includes a 1 year in home service agreement with the purchase of a Pride scooter.

I LOVE THE COMPARISON VIDEOS. KEEP 'EM COMING!
Thanks! Will do!
Awesome video brother Happy holidays to you and your family.
Same to you!
I just got my S3 about a month ago with the canopy. If you're anything like me you will want to practice on various terrain & READ the booklet before you start. I wanted the 3 wheel scooter & got it, however it takes a little getting use to turning, for me anyway...😁. It's not like bike riding. I live in a hilly environment & so far I just stay in 1/2 speed. I don't need to go uber fast anyway!😜 I LOVE my cherry red Afikim ! Giving me so much more freedom. Thanks guys!
That is so awesome to hear!!! We are so happy you are loving your Afikim :)
Nice looking scooters but I get really nervous on the 3 wheel scooters. Take care God bless you all 🙏❤ and your family's. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
Thank you so much!! Happy holidays to you and your family as well :)
I got an S3 and cornering is scary at first, but when you get used to it, it is nice. Now, changing it to 1/2 speed first is a good way to find your comfort level. The only problem I have is in my park there is a turn into a sidewalk that has a raised part of the lawn right at the turn, so I try to avoid that. But if you wish to, you can normally fit in a Walmart, with its wide aisles and sliding doors. The Costco is too far for me, and here in CA the sidewalk speed limit is 4MPH. Most of the time I do not have a problem with pedestrians, they have the right of way, and to tell the truth most of them have asked me where I got it, and I always recommend these folks :) In other words, I think I made a good buy all things considered!
Oh, and Merry Christmas to you!
@@tonydezurik6863 Aww, thank you Tony!!
Just takes a little practice but not impossible.😉
Amazing Amigo 🤗👍
Thank you Moises!
Thank you for you honest opinions I own a S4 and with a canopy etc it’s a beast of a machine the raptor seems good but the reason why the price is reduced is most likely it’s missing a few of the key features and has a few teething problems
They are both great but the Afikim reigns supreme.
@@MobilityDirect I agree the Affkim will always reign supreme
I do have a few concerns about the Raptor
What disabled people would drive at 14 mph it’s very dangerous
Another thing is what about insurance their should be a license which buyers should have also imagine going shopping and realising that my shopping isn’t going to fit on it
Also the front wheel of the Raptor it’s hazardous because it uncontrollable when driven personally the Raptor isn’t suitable for anywhere apart from the fields
I want to see a race between the Raptor 2 and an S3 with the upgraded motor. I've been waiting for years for them to bring the high speed motor to the C series. Turning Radius and speed is everything to those of us who's primary mode of transportation is a scooter. We need to get there fast and be able to navigate aisle turns once we are. I was considering swapping my C4 for a C3 next year, but it's looking more and more like a Raptor 2. The C3 has a better trning radius, but it takes way less time to execute a few 3 point turns (even though a pita) than the higher speed will save me.
We can make a video of that soon, but we have the upgraded S4 with the high output motor, the raptor still beats it.
@@MobilityDirect That's all I needed to know about S vs Raptor. Thank you! Are you guy's ever going to make speedy C series? I'd bet you'd sell a bunch of them. The S series is too big and too expensive (keep in mind many people buying these things only get a disability check). A 14mph C3 with a lockable box like the C4 and S series would be just about the perfect scooter. Add in better forward lighting and side marker lights for bonus points. Heck, while we're at it, since we have 2 horn buttons, attach an outdoor/car/motorcycle horn to one button. and keep the wimpy stock horn on the other. That way cars can hear us, and we don't give all those Walmart shoppers heart attacks. 🙂
Sergio, Dustin, Andrew, and all the rest of you guys at mobility, scooters, direct, I completely agree with you honesty is the best policy, when explaining in your videos, all the details about all of the equipment, mobility, scooters, etc.! Also, by doing this, the company that care about their products, and their business, will continuously make improvements to the models they’ve already created and work on creating better models in the future future! therefore everybody benefits all the way around by increased sales, and many many more happy, satisfied customers in the future! In other words, always do your best to satisfy the customer/S, as they are the ones that are keeping the company alive, etc.! And to a degree it’s always good business to give the people what they want when it comes to quality! I don’t know about you, but I want whatever product I purchased myself or products, in the future to be made out of quality materials, and have a lasting ability, Always! I will always go the extra mile when it comes to spending the extra dollar, if the product being offered is a better quality than anything else that’s being offered! The old saying, as it goes, you get what you pay for! I am positive that we can all agree on this one! CORRECT! 👍😀👍
Totally agree with you on that! We care not only in our business but we also care about our customers too. Thanks for watching our video and commenting!
do you think the afiscooter s3 would be a good scooter for theme parks?
It is. But if you're open to suggestions, we'd love to help you find the best one for your needs. Just give our non-commissioned sales experts a call at 888-263-5601. Thanks for watching our video and commenting! We appreciate the support.
I like that the rapter is more affordable, but I need the bench seat to accommodate my 50 lb service dog , which I don't believe is an option. 😌
It is more of a single rider seat, maybe take a look at the Afikims with dual seat for you and your pup!
The AFIKIM C & S models aren't really friendly for Trains or Bus travel. Then again, I assume that goes for the PRIDE RAPTOR isn't travel friendly. Unless Amtrak allows any mobility, scooters or wheelchairs be stored in the baggage car, because even small light equipment shouldn't be use on board Trains.
True, they are wider them the smaller ones for one thing, plus the Afikim one, so while there may be ramps wide enough, but the weight could be a deciding factor
@@tonydezurik6863 My C4 will physically fit on our ADA buses, but they require the scooter to be facing front. The turning radius makes this impossible, even with the seats folded to the wall.
Personally, I think this would’ve been a much better comparison if you use the C3 model instead of the S4 model! The C3 is much more related to the raptor 23 wheel in more ways! don’t really understand why you would compare the great big S4 tank to the elegant Baja Raptor 2! I don’t feel that this is a fair comparison for two scooters!
They're both great and some are having hard times deciding between these two guys so here's a comparison to help!
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching Jose
@@MobilityDirect ok
Another great video guys! Just loving my new scooter! It's made my life so much easier. SUBSCRIBE and you could win too! I DID!
Thank you! We are so happy you love your scooter!!! :)
Bro have I got a FISHING story for you I will try to send you a pic of my C4 with double dog trailer I'm 297lbs as of Dr. visit last Monday & my C4 does a solid 50 mpc with 80ah lithium's. As for hills & cross country I want to show our set up loaded & then show you a pic of the double ditch we jumped by mistake. we made it & are still driving daily. Trust me boss when you see thes pix you can tell them even the smaller Afikims can go Bajaing with the best of them. And I can't say enough enough about lithium upgrade, less battery weight = higher load capasity, more power, longer range, longer battery life, I have ridden daily from December 22 on with no trouble, & as for step hills I'll send you some pix from where all we ride.(think that stepest part of your sand dune then extend it for 1/4 mile and then add any where from 4 to 7 of those on our daily rought. yep we love our Afikim C4. originaly wantted aS4 & even made a deal for one but lost it. but with the width differance I couldn't make it through doors. hell I'm legaly blind & so this will soon be my only ride So I'm so glad I got my C4. would still love to ride her bigger sister but whats with the only 9mph my C4 with full load & trailer is clocking a solid 10-11 per cop box. great video almost bought me one of your hats the other day lol
That's awesome @lynngill1588! Thanks for sharing your experience and thanks for watching the video!
I used to be able to drive cars. Till bucket seats..
These scooters are great alternatives for many customers that no longer drive cars. They have really great range.
