Yes! Yes! Yes! How is it you introduce me to the very best record of the year right at the very tail end of the year after I already 20 favorites??!! Damn this is soooo good!!!
***** I love Plini.. these two guys create true music. There is nothing better than to hear so much influences in one song. Spread the word these guys deserve recognition!!!
This entire album made part of a delicated time my life. In Over 1 Year ago, my dad died, i stayed aloine until find my mother, so she dicided to come live with me, in my house. Then sudenlly she got sick and a few months laters, she died too. This album made me still strong, and look up. Everything touched me in a fucking intese way, and was THE only beautiful thing in my life. Thank You David Maxim to make music for sake of music! Your music is part of my life!
Hey Andre, you are strong I'm sorry you went through that. You're amazing bro, most people would have commit suicide or went crazy. Thank you for sharing you personal story with us. Rest in peace to both your parents bro.
2 years ago a good friend of mine commited suicide, I was really sad about it and I was looking for any answer to a some of my doubts. The same night I said goodbye to her, I opened a link and drove me here and the first thing I saw was " Everything´s fine" It felt like a meessage to me from her, and I wanted to say Thank you, this album helps me to stay strong.
One thing that this album has throughout is this childhood like theme... Its awesome and I think EVERYONE knows what I mean. Its just emotional and happy at the same time which makes this piece of art THAT much better. Truly beautiful, I must say.
I live in Finland. At my high schools English language graduation exam about half a year after this album came out, I actually wrote an essay about the way Bilo 3.0 had a huge influence on me. Got the top grade! Thanks David :)
Almost 7 years later and this album is still one of the most beautiful - emotionally evoking soundscapes. This album is timeless. The motif is soothing to the soul and carries such a powerful message.
I have now listened to this album more times than I'd like to admit. I bought the flac files off of bandcamp. I would pay for it 3 times over if I had to, that's how good it is. This album is so beautiful that I've now developed a deep emotional connection to it. I doubt David will see this, or any of the other amazing guest musicians on this (looking at you Jeff Loomis you fucking beast) but I just wanted to let you guys know how amazing I think this album is. Keep up the good work.
I really appreciate the presence of female vocals and violin in this music. This really feels like something new and awesome (even more so than bilo1/2) for me. Also, the first heavy guitar chords in where is now really remind me of early devin townsend for some reason.
Randomly found myself humming the tune of Everything's Fine in Dec. 2023. Cracked my head trying to remember what it was. Here I am. I found it!! Thank you David once again.
I'm in love with the Studio Ghibli/Joe Hisaishi feel of the intro! I didn't think it could be possible to top that intro, but this album has an incredible sense of progression that I can't say anything other than wow.
Devin Townsend is the gold standard for Alternative and Prog metal. I've been hooked since Addicted dropped, never heard of Diablo Swing Orchestra, but I'll give them a shot, thanks!
This is literally one of the best, most inspired, most complete albums I've heard in years. And it's so inspiring to see it influenced by the djent genre, which in many ways is becoming stagnant. This incorporates so many genres, so many influences, it's absolutely incredible. Blows my mind
The first time I heard this album, I stopped what I was doing and just listened straight through with my head on the table. Absolutely amazing. Hands down my favorite album made by anyone. Still listening a year later. Crazy beautiful...
i just don't know what i should say... it's... ehm - - - *puhh* THIS is the music for people like me and everybody else. i'm feeling so peacefull right now, yeh that sounds weird but i don't know what to say. i will listen to bilo 3.0 still over the next 100 times. and ironicly i love the track daydreamers preferably :) share this masterpeace around the whole world guys!
Sandarsh Srivastav My exact thoughts! Holy shit this dude is phenomenal! I can always tell within the first 10 minutes of listening to an album whether or not I'm going to obsess over it for at least one year.... and yes, let the obsession begin. His new EP is just as epic.
David, I know that you just speak in english here in the comments, but all that I feel about this album I couldn't demonstrate just writing in english. I hope that you read it to know how this album is significant for me, and why I will take it into my heart wherever I go. Stay fab, my friend "Music for the sake of the music".
It's been a few years, but this album is one of, if not my favorite album ever made. The emotional roller-coaster this puts you through, if you haven't had an emotional breakthrough after listening to this, you must be broken. This is a masterpiece. Love you David.
maravilloso esto es musica aqui en la paz bolivia solo hay cumbia y reguetonq son basura eres un genio david maxim micic bellas voces gracias por su musica
just back here, letting you know this is probably my 1000th playthrough of ALL your work, i'll never be able to thank you, nor can my silly little letters describe how much your music means to me man!
Wow.. this is such a master piece. This album kinda sums up one's life and one can go through such nostalgic moments while listening to this! Wish I was super rich, would have donated so much to this!
i discovered DMM around 2016 and since then he has become one of my favourite artists. i nearly died when i missed his tour of australia a few years back, i was actually pretty depressed about it for a while, listening to this beautiful uplifting piece of music cheered me up. man i hope he comes to australia again. +David Maxim Micic please come back to australia.
its impossible to perfect production, musicianship and beauty all at once! but you made it happen David Maxim Micic... your one of those who is way ahead of everyone else! you deserve every musicians' respect.
Daydreamers instantly became song of the year for me! Which was a surprise considering how much I was loving Plato's Tripartite from the new PTH album :P
i'm crying...this is the proof that the musical genius of mankind it's not yet estinguished at all...that by using your immagination and creativity a lot of things can be done again...masterpiece of mankind...bye bye...i keep crying while listening this masterpiece
Thank you for being crazy enough making this music. Too few people in this world are crazy. Crazyness appeals me, it fills my soul with a feeling of understanding, depth, peace and passion at the same time and sometimes with explicit laughther. Crazyness is necesary to survive. If you're playing belgium/Gent I'd like to hear from it. And if you'd like to sleep in a small warm home (warning there can be crazy and stunning kids) instead of a fancy hotel, you can come around ;-)
"Smile" and "Daydreamers" are the two most beautifully written pieces of music I've heard this entire year, and to be honest, they rival This Binary Universe and The Man With the Movie Camera's soundtrack (my two favorite albums of all time) in terms of sheer beauty. The "Djenty" progressive rock/metal tone of "Where Is Now?" is wonderful, but those other two tracks are just fockin' brilliant. It's amazing how I can see clear influences (that I'm hoping I'm right on), yet at the same time see the originality brought forth by David's writing. Good show, man. This is honestly one of the best albums I've ever heard. PLEASE release this as a physical disk. I would snatch it up in an instant!
you know... this album is like you put joe hisaishi, sarah longfield, (basic rythm beats/riffs in a way like) perephiry, dream theater and some jazz-metal-fusion plus opera vocals together to a big-fucking-bang-in-our-face-bitches-i'm-out... u know what i mean bros? :D
I was brought here really because of the vocalists, since I'm not usually into metal, and they're definitely my favorite part, but all of this is really inspired and thoughtful music. I love the development of themes, the creativity, and its coming full circle, so as long as that's there I can learn to appreciate the style afterward. So, the Aleksandras may have built me a bridge to strange land of metal!
Such an etheral, brutal, breath-taking piece of art ! Wow. If you ever need a french horn or trumpet solo I would be delighted to record some for you :)
I feel like I just heard every beautiful and emotional sound the universe has to offer condensed within 44 minutes. Honestly, Daydreamers had me in literal tears.
Dude. I don't like Jeff Loomis that much but that solo made me smile like an idiot. Also, I don't like Aleksandra screaming, but man, that voice on Smile. BESTIAL in all the good ways. Beautiful. I DEMAND SING-THROUGH! :P Total emotional trip, this has got to be my favourite after the new Ayreon.
This album brings me nothing but good memories. I remember that I had just discovered this around the end of my college semester (which did not go too well). Every time I hear Where is Now, I can instantly be reminded of the sweet release from all of the stresses of that semester.
i love you
Plini and I love you plini

Sarah Your music; Being and Plini are the greatest things!
***** I love Plini.. these two guys create true music. There is nothing better than to hear so much influences in one song. Spread the word these guys deserve recognition!!!
Did they just scat on a djent song?! My life is complete
This entire album made part of a delicated time my life. In Over 1 Year ago, my dad died, i stayed aloine until find my mother, so she dicided to come live with me, in my house. Then sudenlly she got sick and a few months laters, she died too. This album made me still strong, and look up.

I found it again, still one of my favorite albums, thank you so much
God the intro to where is now still gives me chills every time after 2 years of listening
+woodstone90 The whole album does that too, actually
One thing that this album has throughout is this childhood like theme... Its awesome and I think EVERYONE knows what I mean. Its just emotional and happy at the same time which makes this piece of art THAT much better. Truly beautiful, I must say.
Yeah, it's something you can't really explain because the music does such a good job conveying it. It's like if Spirited Away was an album.
omg I'm not the only one :D
being happy is being emotional lol
Wontolla that's what i'm talking bout :D
It's very playful, like a child, indeed. The music as well. No concessions, just making something you like without borders.
I live in Finland. At my high schools English language graduation exam about half a year after this album came out, I actually wrote an essay about the way Bilo 3.0 had a huge influence on me. Got the top grade! Thanks David :)
Hey dude, I'd like to read that essay if possible
orchestral music + lyric singing (instead the default dying pig vocals) + djent arsenal = awesomeness
That closing track was SOMETHING ELSE. Wow.
Vladimir Lalic's voice is fkn incredible, omgomgomg.
is perfect you meant...
:)!
Violin, scatting, oprah, djent, unique time signatures, Aleksandra Radosavljevic. This album has it all.
dr. phil and ellen also
and DJELMAS!
200,000 views!! :D
Thank you!!

No! Thank You !!!
If you have time checkout my track! m.soundcloud.com/dmix99/phoenix
You should be upset.
This deserves a couple million views.
Honestly :)
well fuckin' deserved my friend!
Wrinkle maze... Makes me feel ready to travel the world!
Where the strings start in everything's fine is one of the most beautiful things I have heard in my life.
10/10 is listening again.
You time stamped all of the solos...How incredibly considerate.
The transition around 17:12 is sooo good. The distant scream at 17:26 sends crazy chills, not to mention the vocal line at 18:02
If you look up "Music" in the dictionary the book will actually transform into speakers and begin playing this album. No joke.
Seriously, this is art.
Can't stop listening to everything's fine xD
***** achingly beautiful isn't it?
***** This is exactly what came to mind when I got to that acoustic part of Daydreamers
+Oscar Moshmann its pure uninhibited art! Lovely music.
This is one of the best albums made ever.
yes.
Still listening to it all the time. Maybe my favorite music ever written...
Almost 7 years later and this album is still one of the most beautiful - emotionally evoking soundscapes. This album is timeless. The motif is soothing to the soul and carries such a powerful message.

+Benjamin Pingleton Upvoted just so David can see it.
Benjamin Pingleton Same. This is absolute art and I feel such a connection to the music. David has done some incredible work.
Bump!
Bump
The transition between "Where Is Now?" and "Smile" is haunting, seamless, and beautiful. This music breathes life into me.
I really appreciate the presence of female vocals and violin in this music. This really feels like something new and awesome (even more so than bilo1/2) for me. Also, the first heavy guitar chords in where is now really remind me of early devin townsend for some reason.

FUCK YEH! i exACTLY know what u mean bro! :D
Music like this makes me feel truly alive.
I need to hear more sounds like what I'm getting at 7:52,
that big band jazz / metal / power metal fusion is blowing me away
Devin Townsend.
Oh, and Diablo Swing Orchestra.
Devin Townsend is the gold standard for Alternative and Prog metal. I've been hooked since Addicted dropped, never heard of Diablo Swing Orchestra, but I'll give them a shot, thanks!
did somebody just fucking scatt in this record??? im in love i cant handle how good this is.
This is literally one of the best, most inspired, most complete albums I've heard in years. And it's so inspiring to see it influenced by the djent genre, which in many ways is becoming stagnant. This incorporates so many genres, so many influences, it's absolutely incredible. Blows my mind
Did they seriously start scat djenting at 8:08?
IM FOR IT
scjant-core. new favorite...
I don't understand how this doesn't have over 50M plays yet.
The first time I heard this album, I stopped what I was doing and just listened straight through with my head on the table. Absolutely amazing. Hands down my favorite album made by anyone. Still listening a year later. Crazy beautiful...
+Austin Bowen Same here dude, damn this album is amazing !!!
I gotta say the only thing I hate is not having a big enough adjective to describe the majesty of a composition this was, good lord above.
Those female screamy vox are SO KILLER!!! Oh, the passion.
i just don't know what i should say...
it's...
ehm - - - *puhh*
THIS is the music for people like me and everybody else.
i'm feeling so peacefull right now, yeh that sounds weird but i don't know what to say. i will listen to bilo 3.0 still over the next 100 times.

for anyone with a deep passion in music, a heavy taste, and anything that touches the souls soft spot, this is the music that does it all!

Wow.. this is such a master piece. This album kinda sums up one's life and one can go through such nostalgic moments while listening to this!
Wish I was super rich, would have donated so much to this!
You do not have to be rich to support music and its musicians, all you have to so is share the music with those you care to show.
Such a masterpiece of an album! Still love it as much as I did when I heard it for the first time, last year.
Metal555Fan I've seen you around dude lol
I Hunt For the Leak Ahah, I guess we have pretty similar tastes in music then!
yeeeeeeee :3
I love that Where is Now? is a revamped track from Bilo 1.0. It's such a fun song.
i discovered DMM around 2016 and since then he has become one of my favourite artists.
i nearly died when i missed his tour of australia a few years back, i was actually pretty depressed about it for a while, listening to this beautiful uplifting piece of music cheered me up.
man i hope he comes to australia again.
+David Maxim Micic please come back to australia.
David Maxim Micic's BILO III is incredible, jaw dropping music. He captures the essence of emotion perfectly.
"Everything´s Fine" brought the "Nausicaa of the valley of the wind" OST to my memory!!! GREAT ALBUM!!
its impossible to perfect production, musicianship and beauty all at once! but you made it happen David Maxim Micic... your one of those who is way ahead of everyone else! you deserve every musicians' respect.
Nostalgia....A rainy summer day.... This album is so beautiful...
I always imagine me playing this on a stage.
You and me both brah haha
***** I know those feels lol
***** That makes many of us! ;)
I used to imagine myself singing the female vocal parts and killing it 😂 just seems very fun to sing like that
Daydreamers instantly became song of the year for me! Which was a surprise considering how much I was loving Plato's Tripartite from the new PTH album :P
That was my favorite too!!!
Dude, yes.
Smile is one of the best songs I've EVER heard.
David Maxim Micic Just Came To Change Music This Is Greatness At Its Maximum Expression
So amazing, so beautiful, brilliant compositions.
Es mi proyecto favorito desde que lo escuché, refrescante, novedoso, original, fabuloso e inspirador. Saludos desde Colombia sur América.
Came back to this one after listening to the new masterpiece this man created
This album changed my life 5 years ago, I'm glad I still enjoy it as it was the first day ^^
i'm crying...this is the proof that the musical genius of mankind it's not yet estinguished at all...that by using your immagination and creativity a lot of things can be done again...masterpiece of mankind...bye bye...i keep crying while listening this masterpiece

+Evelien Gelaude lmao that first sentence.
I can't stop listening to this
This is the kind of music that just makes me happy.
Good show, man. u know what i mean bros? :D
no we dont know what you mean, we feel what you mean bro :D
xD there we go
I couldn't have said it better, myself.
I was brought here really because of the vocalists, since I'm not usually into metal, and they're definitely my favorite part, but all of this is really inspired and thoughtful music. I love the development of themes, the creativity, and its coming full circle, so as long as that's there I can learn to appreciate the style afterward. I'm pretty awestruck right now.
So much passion, creativity, variety, skill, and beauty in one 45 min listen.
Such an etheral, brutal, breath-taking piece of art ! Wow.
If you ever need a french horn or trumpet solo I would be delighted to record some for you :)
This music make love to my ears, soul, heart and mind.. Excellent work!! I just love it
"Smile" is a pure masterpiece.
It's like flying in a raging sky, cool.
I feel like I just heard every beautiful and emotional sound the universe has to offer condensed within 44 minutes. Honestly, Daydreamers had me in literal tears.
Yeah gotta say it....This woman Aleksandra's work on "smile" is insane. As was Jeff Loomis....amazing. But damn girl.....dat voice!! Chills.
woah, when you think you can't be surprised anymore by prog, this falls into my ears. Now my ears don't want to left
*leave
my life has changed with the release of this album. i praise you
That last track gets me right in the feels every time I listen to it.
THIS IS ABSOLUBTELY THE BEST MUSICAL WORK OF THE YEAR. TRULY A MASTERPIECE.
Good god David, this is your most moving work to date. We're in awe.
oh my word the string arrangements...the orchestral are dope, the opening song has such an oriental vibe! love it
the spectrum of emotions that this masterpiece covers is simply breathtaking
First song really reminds me of Totoro for some reason...
At the beginning it sounds like the Amelie theme.
I thought the exact same thing! If not Totoro, then definitely a Studio Ghibli movie!
Dude. I don't like Jeff Loomis that much but that solo made me smile like an idiot. Also, I don't like Aleksandra screaming, but man, that voice on Smile. BESTIAL in all the good ways. Beautiful. I DEMAND SING-THROUGH! :P
Total emotional trip, this has got to be my favourite after the new Ayreon.
It's so hard to fine artistic integrity. This is beyond uplifting and inspiring. David, GOD bless your soul !
Nostalgia is some of the best music I've ever heard methinks.
Your comment on Plini's channel brought me here. You're pretty fucking amazing yourself. Like, it's blowing my mind how you came up with this.
Right from the start that piano got me full attention to it. beautifull
This album brings me nothing but good memories. I remember that I had just discovered this around the end of my college semester (which did not go too well). Every time I hear Where is Now, I can instantly be reminded of the sweet release from all of the stresses of that semester.
I never get tired of Daydreamers. It's just something else... so good
This is spot on, daydreamers made me stop washing dishes and pay attention
you were washing dishes too????
Aleksandra is so vocally versatile, fucking hell!
Wrinkle Maze may be the most perfect thing I've heard this year.
i´ll recommend this to my son when he grows up. thanks from Spain
Esto es una obra maestra mire por donde se mire , todos mis respetos a David.
